This is definitely a terrible company. After a long wait, I called to ask about my items, only to tell me delivered it to my neighbours. I was puzzled: I stayed at home all day during COVID-19. Why delivery it to my neighbour? I asked them: which neighbour (I live in the flat)? they said they would not provide any help (because they already knew the delivery was sent to the wrong address at this time) and cut the phone rudely. I was the winning bidder on a Carel Weight oil painting on 30/04/18. It cost £4,096 and, of that, I paid £768 in commission to Grand Auctions. I am a returning customer and bought another art work about a year ago. It was a very pleasant transaction and I have no regrets there. However, when I tried to arrange pick-up of my purchase, I was met with a very rude and unprofessional email. There was no ‘Dear Sir’ and it was simply signed GRAND AUCTIONS.
All the correspondence has been copied and pasted below so that you can draw your own conclusions. Needless to say, I won’t be using them
