At ABLE Motorcycle Training we offer training that will cover every element to make you a safer rider on today's busy roads. Our aim is to make you a highly skilled rider, able to make the most of any machine. We want you to have the knowledge to deal with any situation. All our instructors are Driving Standards Agency approved and are trained to the highest standards.
Since the take over we now work in partnership with ALL Ride Motorcycle Training and have updated our machines using YAMAHA MT07 for Direct Access - Full Test & A2 training and either Yamaha YBR125's, Suzuki RV125's, Honda CBFor GLR125's for CBT and A1 licence courses. We use Blue Tooth head sets allowing for Crystal clear bike to bike communication whilst out on the road.

In partnership with ALLRIDE MOTORCYCLE TRAINING. When contacting us - please tell us you age, your experience (if any) the course you are looking to do and whether you would like to use a geared bike or a twist & go motorcycle.
We are based in Trowbridge, and cater for all of the surrounding areas including Westbury, Frome, Devizes, Chippenham, Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Box, and Warminster. We use the closest Multi-Purpose Test Centre to us, typically Bristol or Swindon. To allow us to try and book courses for our students of the same ability - Please tell us your age, your riding experience if any and what course you are looking for.
Direct Access: train on a larger, more powerful bike (we use 600cc bikes) and get a full, unrestricted A licence. (Only available to over 24's) The A2 licence restricts you to a 47BHP bike (typically a 500cc bike). After two years, you have the option of re-taking the test via Direct Access, which potentially means you could be riding larger bikes by the time you are 21.
If you have a provisional motorcycle licence, you MUST satisfactorily complete a Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) course. You can then ride on the public road, with L plates (in Wales either D plates, L plates or both can be used), for up to two years. During this time you MUST pass a motorcycle theory test and then a practical test to obtain your full motorcycle licence.
If you already possess a full licence, but wish to improve your skills, we can offer a "SAFERIDER" course. This is tailored for the individual, and can be either a re-introduction back to biking for the "born again biker", or the stepping stone up to Advanced Riding. We can offer "one to one" or group tuition.

Passed my CBT with Able yesterday! It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend Able to anyone wanting to do their CBT or full motorcycle licence.
The day was well structured and you'll learn a lot in a short space of time. The instructors are very experienced and know what they're doing. There's a major focus on safety which is obviously the most important part of the day. That being said, you'll have fun throughout because the instructors are very down to earth (and a good laugh).
Looking forward to doing my full licence next year with Able.

I did my Cbt with these guys yesterday. It's a full on day, with lots to cover. The guy's made it both educational and most importantly enjoyable! I've come away feeling confident to be able to go away and practice everything I've learnt. If you want to do your cbt or any other training these guy's offer. I recommend AMT 100 percent. Top class.

I completed my CBT and Direct Access course with Able and was really pleased with everything. Friendly and professional throughout, plus the opportunity to speak with a multitude of instructors who were each able to offer their own individual hints and tips. 100% recommend for new and experienced riders.
