Solar energy is one of the biggest and most effective kinds of renewable energy in the world. We harvest the natural power of the sun to create electricity to heat and light homes and businesses. Your system can either produce electricity or heat your water whilst reducing the amount of carbon dioxide you produce.
The term 'Heat Pumps' refers to a group of technologies that incorporate HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) devices that provide heat energy that is transferred from a source of heat or warmth, to a destination called a heat sink, effectively 'pumping' warmth from one place to another.
For a while now the onus has been put on businesses to behave in a more sustainable and carbon friendly way. We all know that we need to act more responsibly when it comes to the environment and every commercial enterprise needs to be encouraged to do its bit.

To help, various incentives have been provided by the UK Government including Feed in Tariffs and the Green Deal which means that an energy saving, renewable focused approach is more attractive to businesses of all sizes across the country. There are now a number of renewable and low carbon technologies on the market which can make it difficult to choose the right renewable approach for your business.
Biomass boilers are a low-carbon and renewable energy source which burn biological plant material - predominantly wood - in order to generate heat or both heat & electricity for combined units. Biomass can be used to heat spaces and water for homes, businesses and communities and can replace existing coal, gas or oil boilers.
More energy is provided by the sun in one hour than the world's inhabitants are able to consume in a whole year. Solar thermal technology (sometimes called solar water heating) harnesses this powerful, clean, inexhaustible and free resource by converting energy from the sun into hot water for buildings of all types.
