Electric Punch Tattoo opened it's doors in 2014 in Hoddesdon, Hertfordshire. Our aim is to bring you the best quality tattoos in a clean, sterile and modern environment. We have exceptionally high standards and pride ourselves on having a friendly and welcoming approach to our work. We are primarily a custom tattoo studio and enjoy working hard to design the best tattoo for you.
Booking is always advisable, but if we have space available we are more than happy to take walk-ins. We cover all styles of tattooing and will always try our hardest to offer the best advice we can. Terry has been a tattooist for over thirteen years and in that time has worked in several tattoo studios both in the UK and Australia. In 2014 he opened Electric. Rupert Cleaver has a fantastic history in graphic design and then he has made the transition into tattooing expertly. His designs are creative and executed.
1. Leave your tattoo covering on for 3-4 hours because the new tattoo will continue to discharge fluids for a while after its been finished. It is normal for any excess ink to also leak out. 2. When you get home, give it a wash with clean water. Gently pat dry and leave uncovered. After drying, smooth over a thin layer of tattoo aftercare cream* (or Bepanthen**).

I've been to many, many tattoo shops in my time and had many different experiences, but none as good as at Electric Punch. When I'm there the guys are welcoming and kind, and extremely professional. It's a meticulously neat and tidy shop, and every tattoo artist is top in their field. I prefer traditional work, and Rupert Cleaver is a good as it gets. His designs are above and beyond, and every single one of the 10-plus tattoos he's put on me are impeccable. I literally cannot rate this shop any higher. They'll make you feel like family.

Really friendly and professional tattoo studio, lady at reception made me feel at ease, and quickly arranged for me to be seen as a drop in. Tattoo artist explained the whole process from start to finish. This was my first tattoo and I couldn't have chosen a better tattoo studio. Well done everyone.

I had my twelfth tattoo at Electric Punch. I have previously been to two other studios in different cities before I came to university. I can say with honesty that Electric Punch has given me some of the best line work I have ever seen. Additionally, my tattoo artist had a very good "bedside manner" and we did not sit awkwardly in silence whilst my design was finished, which was very pleasant. I am sure I will soon return.

Myself and virtually my whole family have now had tattoos here and we are all equally thrilled. Pretty sure Ryan did the lot but the whole team were welcoming, friendly and primed with good banter / distraction tactics! It was my first and I am not good with pain - Ryan dealt with the drama like a pro and kept me calm throughout. If you are going to get your skin permanently marked I definitely recommend these guys...I'll be back soon for another ;-) Thanks again!

If you have never been tattooed before or you have and want more then this is the ONLY shop in Hertfordshire you should be using.
All the artists are great, easy going and will make you feel welcome and comfortable.
