Services
Whilst we are still open for business we are making temporary changes to our terms and conditions and the way we work. This will enable us to protect our staff and customers more. We are now asking customers not to come to the office for general enquires and where possible to email your Driving Licence and check code before arrival.
Car Hire: All prices include "Unlimited mileage", Roadside Breakdown Recovery, VAT and 250 miles free per day. Van Hire: All prices include Full Insurance, Roadside Breakdown Recovery, VAT and 250 miles free per day, Excess mileage charges at 10 pence per mile plus VAT.
All customers will be required to produce their driving licence and driver check code (which can be found on the DVLA website)at the time of hire: new customers will be required to produce two other means of identification that gives proof of their signature and current address.100/250 deposit will be required (depending on class of vehicle) in addition to the cost of hire of the vehicle.

If you return the vehicle later than the time specified on your booking form without our consent you will be charged for the additional time that you have the vehicle in your possession. If you are more than 30 minutes late you will be charged for a full day. Once you have sent an enquiry, a member of staff will usually call within 2 hours (within standard working hours).

Rented a van which broke down tried to contact peermonts no answer fixed myself to return putting parts on van then payed for its full rental.
waited for refund of parts to get fobbed off and promises of a call back never came.
then after contacting them they lost the paperwork do not rwnt from these guys they are a joke

Completely messed up my booking. I phoned up to ask whether I could change the date of my van hire to the following day. They said it was totally fine and I was booked in for the next day. When I arrive to come and pick up the van they said it was booked for the previous day. Apparently they called me multiple times, and it went to voicemail as I was at work, but they didn’t bother leaving any voicemails or calling me. Pretty incompetent and disorganised. They did give me a refund but that can’t really compensate for the fact they ruined time sensitive plans to move out of my rental accommodation

Pierremonts Car and Van Hire have a good reputation with me and I am sure with many other customers that have used their services. I have hired from them in the past and now I intend to hire on a more regular basis because they have an excellent range of vehicles, the up to date models, well presented, clean and safe. The personnel are friendly, polite and very helpful. Prices are excellent and very good value and I am sure they are competitive, but I do not shop around when I find a good company that I can trust. I am very satisfied with their service and will definitely use them again. I highly
