Daniel is a really good instructor to learn with and would recommend him to anyone thinking about taking lessons. He is patient and doesn't get annoyed if you make a mistake. After looking for a good driving school in Bolton, I settled on Harwood driving school run by Dan Ison. I'm glad I did, his driving lessons were very professional, at advanced driving standards.

This is just not true. Perhaps this myth originates with those embarrassed by failure trying to come up with a convincing reason for family and friends. If you are up to driving test standard you will pass. It's not meant to be easy, and the fact is that over 50% of candidates are just not up to the standard required.

Narrow residential roads are likely during the driving test from Bolton Driving Test Centre. These types of roads are hazardous due to width constraints and oncoming traffic.

Thanks to Dan I passed my driving test first time today, with 0 driving faults, and the examiner didn’t even have any notes he wanted to bring up. It was just a “Perfect drive”. Dan is very reliable and effectively explained and taught everything to me as I had no previous driving experience.

Dan is a great instructor, i enjoyed my lessons and felt comfortable and confident whilst driving. Dan is an amazing instructor and I couldn’t have asked for better, I always looked forward to my lessons and thoroughly enjoyed them. I felt very calm and confident whilst driving with Dan and there was constant support and reliability which allows me to pass first time with only one fault..I highly recommend Harwood driving school and thank you for all the help and support along the way :)
