This new baby 4ply yarn has three co-ordinates print, spot and plain. All 3 provide a wonderful family of yarns and the 4 pattern designs brought out to support them feature a continental design of all three yarns together to produce a beautiful 4ply baby garment. A blend of 70% Premium Acrylic and 30% Polyamide gives this new yarn a super soft feel.
Sock wool, or sock yarn, is mostly 4 ply but you can also get DK yarns. There are several plain sock yarns but the self patterning sock yarn is the one that seems to have got the knitters attention. Sock yarn is also useful for gloves and hats. Sock yarns are usually 75% wool and 25% nylon, but we also have 75% Bamboo with 25% nylon, ideal for the Summer.
We stock a wide range of knitting accessories for both the beginner and experienced knitter. If you don't see what you need below then please contact us with your requirements. Some knitters also use circular needles for flat knitting because of the way that they distribute the weight of work in the lap instead of at the ends of straight needles.

As a novice knitter I have felt somewhat intimidated when asking questions in craft or yarn shops. It was so refreshing to walk into Knitting Korner and feel welcomed. I am grateful for the help and advice, I loved using the yarn and I will definitely be back. I'm so glad that I walked into Knitting Korner today and would thoroughly recommend it. Thank you.
