Services
We take our time and work around the comfort of each individual dog. If needs be we work in pairs to properly provide support when standing for any extended periods. We try to do as much as we can with the dog lying or sitting down and leave any finishing touches till last so they can completely relax for the majority of their groom.
Allows patients to swim in a completely non-weightbearing enviroment, with a wider joint range of motion. Allows animals to walk in a semi/ minimal weightbearing enviroment, with a walking joint range of motion. With eco health massage shower head, blaster dryers and easi-dri towels to get your dog clean, dry and comfortable after a session in the pool or treadmill.
We will then fit your pet with either a harness or a buoyancy aid to provide suppourt and act as a safety aid. Either in the Hydro pool or the Aquatic treadmill. Depending on veterinary preference, treating condition and our assesments of individual patients. To relax muscles after exercising and help remove any chemical residue from your pets coat.
As members of the CHA our work relies on a veterinarians referral or consent to their patient undertaking a course of hydro. In any case where hydro is found unsuitable the owners will be informed and the treatment declined. Any cases in which the patient has not been seen by the vet in 6 months, will be advised that they should book a check up appointment before consent can be given.
Regular (daily/ weekly) brushing helps to remove any shedding hair, dirt, dandruff or tangles and prevents fur from matting. As a side to preventing mats, regular brushing also becomes an enjoyable experience for most pets, can help maintain a healthy coat through increased circulation and by encouraging the production of natural oils.

My Springer Spaniel, Seb, has been having some hydro sessions to help manage his arthritis. Bryony has been absolutely wonderful with him. He is an anxious boy and so has not been a natural, but Bryony has been… so patient with him and has adapted her approach to suit Seb. It is clear she really knows her stuff and truly cares for the dogs, always taking into consideration both emotional and physical health 🐶🐾💙

I have taken both my dogs to Bryony over the years. Tilly went for fun and fitness and Tess went for maintenance. She is absolutely amazing with the dogs. I've also seen first hand how she has helped dogs recover from surgery and dogs that can't walk very well. I will continue to recommend bryony to everyone. (I also can't wait to release my crazy doggo in the pool, see you soon!)

My chocolate Labrador Donnie had spinal surgery 3 years ago, we started to see bryony to help his rehab and have continued to bring him to her as he loves it here. I can’t recommend her highly enough. She has so much time, patience and love for the dogs it’s heart warming. My boy isn’t the easiest to deal with but he loves bryony as she has taken the time he needed to get sued to her and she really looks after him and makes him feel safe.

My dog Rupert has been going to B for a few weeks now and he gets super excited when he knows he is going swimming in the hydrotherapy pool. B has been amazing with Rupert, she is so lovely with him and… knowledgeable, which has benefited me to understand how to support Rupert’s hip dysplasia. I would highly recommend Choice Hydrotherapy to anyone.

Attended our 2nd session today, Mollie is getting the hang of the hydro treadmill & I am super impressed with the service & how B genuinely loves the doggies in her care. We went through a detailed questionnaire before treatment started. It’s fare to say Mollie has barely moved this afternoon, she is so tired 😴 Thank you 🐾

I would highly recommend Choice Hydrotherapy (Bryony) and would not want to take Holly my 12 year old Golden Retriever anywhere else. Holly had TPLO knee surgery 2 years ago. Bryony was understanding, helpful and supportive with both Holly and myself. Holly was not to keen on water prior, but now gets so excited about going to hydro, she's happy to jump in the pool with Bryony by her side 🐾💦❤

I have been so impressed with Bryony and her professional dedication to helping dogs. Her ability so support a dog and understand its needs, supporting it when doing something different, and so then creating an environment it loves to be in as it gets better....is a gift not everyone has. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
