Services
Podiatry is a branch of medicine devoted to the study, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the foot, ankle, and lower leg. Podiatrists are autonomous healthcare professionals who aim to improve the mobility, independence and quality of life for their patients. We assess, diagnose and treat people with all maner of problems in the feet, ankles and legs.
Many people are unable to manage their own toenails and sometimes struggle to find help with them. When these problems are combined with general health problems that compromise foot health it is important that your nail care provider is properly trained. We appreciate the frustration at having to pay for a full podiatry appointment when you only need a quick trim!
Having an ingrowing toe nail is a painful experience. We can help with a full range of treatments, from regular, correct cutting which may be all the nail needs, right through to the surgical removal of the nail (or part of the nail) with the use of local anaesthetic. This procedure usually involves the use of a chemical to prevent further nail growth but occasionally it is possible to allow the nail to re-grow.
Following your assessment we may advise the use of in insert in your shoes to help re-align your foot. This is called an orthotic. A cast will be taken of your foot to ensure an accurate fitting and the best possible outcome. We offer you free insurance against manufacturing fault or fracture of your devices.
Sometimes, there is an imbalance within the foot or leg which causes problems when walking, running or playing sports. It can cause pain in the feet, legs or lower back, headaches and even migraines. Thorough assessments of your feet and legs will enable us to develop a package of care that redresses the balance.

A really top quality service, despite all my nerves beforehand. Rachael was fantastic in explaining the procedural aspects of the treatment, undertaking the work itself, but also in the quality of her aftercare guidance, and answering any questions along the way. Highly recommended

First class!! I was so impressed with the treatment given to me by Rachel, she diagnosed my problem and set about rectifying it immediately, not only that but explained to me in detail about what could be needed in the future. Very happy with the treatment and have already booked my next appointment. Wonderful practice. The receptionist is also lovely, very professional but very friendly. Big thumbs up for Rachel and her team!

I have seen dozens of chropodists. None as excellent as Rachel.
If your feet need sorting she's your girl.

Great first experience of Chiropody. Friendly, professional and the feet/ nails were in much better shape. A but like using a dental hygienist, prevention is better than cure.

I wonder if the clinic wants any more business ? Have been trying to book an appointment for the last 3 weeks , with no success. Spoke to someone twice and they promised that they would call back to book an appointment still waiting ...

I had 3 very stubborn verrucas which I believe I had picked up from swimming. I had tried many things to try and get rid of them but nothing was working. I went to dorking footcare and saw Rachel, she was so professional and knowledgeable on the treatments available and gave me honest advice on the best options for treatment. After two 'swift' (name of the treatment) treatments they are gone! It was slightly expensive but well worth the money. I do not regret the decision at all. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I first came to the Dorking footcare centre after I had been diagnosed with Cancer and found it very difficult to reach my toes to cut my nails. I now come every 6 weeks and walk the rest of the time on air!!!!!!!
the thing that impressed me about my first visit was the fact that my whole health was Rachel's concern. Rachel checked my blood flow and the fitness of my feet which are overall are pointers to that.
it is wonderful to have the hard skin and any blemishes removed with such ease and I would recommend The Dorking Footcare centre to all as I for years had pedicures which cost just as
