I had never heard of this shop when I ordered some extra long dpns (Addi, 40cm), which I couldn't find anywhere else in all 8 sizes. They were shipped promptly and arrived at my door here in the US after about a week. They appear to have a huge selection of everything knitterly, so I'll very likely shop with them again. A+

I am writing to tell you that my package was placed in extremely thin bag...so thin that the rain seeped into the bag and I had to dry out the scarves and it was very upsetting. I also didn’t receive my 2 knitting needle boxes that I ordered. Both were 32.00 each and Made in Germany (Addi wooden boxes). So disappointed with what looks like a really sweet store. Item arrived damaged and missing needles. Contacted customer service who said needles weren’t included in a ‘kit’ and then said they could send me the pattern by pdf to print off. So basically not a kit if you have to purchase needles separately. And also £16 for one ball of wall and a crumpled bit of paper. Managed to find a similar type of kit that included pattern sent in hard backed envelope, ball of wall and needles in a cute organza bag for half the price this company charged on Etsy. Really disappointed with this company. After reading all the great reviews, decided to place an order for a new project. The following day I received an email to say my order hadn't gone through and I needed to re-enter my payment details. Fortunately I contacted my bank - as I was informed that this wasn't the case. When I finally did receive my order - the two knitting patterns were not sent - and instead I received a random crochet pattern for something completely different. I am now unable to start my project as planned. I will never order from this company again

I knitted this lovely shawl for my daughter to wear for her outdoor wedding dinner in the mountains of North Carolina, USA. The yarn was incredibly soft and the colors as advertised. I did modify the pattern to center the chevron rather than following the offset design. I also used three skeins of yarn so that I could make the shawl wider. Very happy with the outcome and my daughter loved it!

Very impressed with the service I received from Laughing Hens. I was trying to find some wool which has been discontinued. Laughing Hens had low stock of it but took time to ask me if I was happy to proceed with different lot numbers. Indeed I was, as anything is better than a half finished cardigan. The wool arrived very quickly and wrapped nicely and securely. All systems go now to get this knitting finished. THANK YOU.
