After our initial architect struggled with the intricacies of our town centre site, a recommendation from a friend saw Nick take on our tricky development, and instantly he grasped our vision. Nick was able to maximise the potential of the site whilst balancing the commercial and residential aspects of the brief, and the character of our building.
It was clear after our first meeting that Nick had grasped a clear understanding of our wishes for the new building at Bramford Golf Centre. He designed a space that incorporated our needs, complimented the existing building and added aspects that we could not have put on paper!
Nick was easy to work with when we needed to make alterations and also represented us perfectly in his dealings with the planning officers in order to secure planning permission.I would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Ours was not a particularly glamourous project; essentially the internal reinsulation of a 1950’s community hall. Nick worked closely with us from the outset and displayed real empathy with what we were trying to do and the limited resources that we had available. He really brought the project to life by incorporating many simple but effective design features which transformed the internal look and feel of the building as well as delivering the all-important energy saving measures that we were seeking. All I can say is Nick was very professional and made a very complex specialist new build very easy, He kept us to date with any issues and provided detailed information when required in a simple way for a layman to understand, His dealings with the planning departments and liaising with the builder was first class. We asked Nick to help us design an extension for our home in Bury St Edmunds. The extension included a new downstairs kitchen/living area, as well as a new second story bedroom. Nick took all of our ideas on board and designed a visually stunning and usable space. Nick took the lead throughout our planning process and was reactive to any changes requested by the planning department/neighbours. We involved Nick for extension and renovation of our property. Nick visited us several times and listened to all our ideas and requirements. As we had previously ditched plans from 3 other architects, we were keen to get it right this time. We liked Nick's plans and decided to proceed with the project. Nick worked closely with the builders and was always available for advice when needed. The work on the project is now complete and we have a stunning smart home incorporating the latest technologies.
