A member of staff at 'Advanced Vehicle Rental' told me the incorrect load length which meant that the bench I drove to London to collect didn't fit (why would I double check it and measure it if an advanced vehicle rental specialist told me it's a certain length?). When I returned to the office he ceremoniously measured the load length and, alas, found it was not what he told me. When I told him I would have to return to London and it would not be with 'Advanced Vehicle Hire', nor would I ever use them again, he laughed and looked the other way.
