Pharmacy No prescription needed! Every year many hundreds of travellers from the UK catch malaria and in tens of cases it is fatal. Symptoms can start rapidly. The right anti-malaria tablet is essential to prevent infection. Anti-malarial tablets are often prescription-only medicines and most GPs charge between 15 to 25 to issue a private prescription.
We are now in a position to accept nominations from our NHS customers for the pharmacy to receive prescriptions electronically from your GP surgery. What is ETP? ETP is a new service commencing late 2011 that will allow patients to nominate a pharmacy to receive their prescriptions electronically. What does this mean to me?
Q2 If you collected a prescription today, were you able to collect it straight away, did you have to wait in the pharmacy or did you come back later to collect it?. Q3 How satisfied were you with the time it took to provide your prescription and/or any other NHS services you required?. Q4 Thinking about any previous visits as well as today's, how would you rate the pharmacy on the following factors?
We offer travel health consultations, vaccinations (including yellow fever), anti-malarials and travel related retail items. MASTA is the largest network of private travel clinics in the UK. We offer Yellow Fever vaccinations, regulated by NaTHNaC, which was set up by the Department of Health in 2002 with the broad aim of Protecting the Health of British Travellers.
