Poppy's Picnic
It's a balanced mix of fresh British meat + vegetables, herbs, botanicals, liver & kidney. You've just made breakfast and dinner a first class dining experience - we call this Poppylicious! Teddy is just 2, but he's always been disinterested in food. We've tried everything but we struggled to get him to eat, and then we found Poppy's Picnic's fresh dog food.

He has started to go straight into his dish as soon as I put it down now and he licks the bowl clean! I just ordered his 2nd hamper so hopefully his appetite for good healthy food will continue! I'm blown away by the quality and would never think of changing Bells' food again. For a dog that has never eaten breakfast, she now sits in front of the fridge expectantly.
Services
Just as we're told that fresh food is the healthiest way for us to eat, the same applies to our four-legged friends. Founder Dylan Watkins and his Chief Executive Dog, Poppy, launched Poppy's Picnic in 2016 to make it easy for people to feed their dogs a raw food diet the way nature intended.

Headquartered in the heart of Wiltshire, our tasty wholesome recipes have been lovingly crafted with the help of canine nutritionists and fourth generation butchers. With no hidden nasties, the balanced meals contain all the goodness a dog needs for optimal health and wellbeing. The food can be bought in independent pet shops around the UK, online and in Hong Kong.
Personalise your own hamper or order one of our popular combinations - the choice is yours (or ask your dog!) Not sure how much to feed? Small and Large Hampers can fit unlimited packs of TASTY Treats so add as many as you'd like. Just want TASTY Treats? Select a 'Just Treats' Hamper. We are proud to say that our raw pet food products are complete and balanced according to the FEDIAF standards and guidelines.
And that includes feeding cats too. Our wholesome, natural, top-quality raw cat food will be perfectly portioned for your purry friend. As life-long cat fans we want to ensure all our four legged friends are equally happy and healthy. Personalise your own hamper or order one of our popular combinations - the choice is yours (or ask your dog!)
We love our dogs and care about their health but the processed pellets filling the nation's dog bowls is making them ill! Poppy's Picnic is a Biologically Appropriate Raw Food diet (shortened to 'BARF' - yes, we had a little smile too when we first read this).

It's specifically created with the foods which dogs have evolved to eat, and contains the full complement of essential healthy vitamins, minerals and natural oils they need for optimum health. Our recipes have been fine-tuned, by vet and nutritional consultant Dr Charlotte Gray MA VetMB (cantab) MRCVS, to meet the latest FEDIAF nutritional guidelines.
Our meat is sourced locally and prepared by 4th generation butchers in the heart of Wiltshire. In the wild, most of a carnivore's nutrition comes from bones. As in the wild, the bones your dog eats must ALWAYS be uncooked (cooked bones are brittle and splinter). We only use locally grown, dog-friendly vegetables such as curly kale and cauliflower in our meals.

I’m desperate to get my Frenchie onto raw food but he ain’t having none of it! So this is the nearest best thing because there’s no bones so I can cook the raw food up and he gobbled it up! Couldn’t be happier! Thank you Poppy 😊💩😊

My pomeranian Luna has tried every kind of food. She was really worrying me as she started even starving herself to the point of vomiting as her empty stomach would create too much acid. The vets confirmed it was just a case of her being fussy, she would eat treats and was interested in human food but obviously this wasn't ideal and feeding her became really stressful. I tried Poppys Picnic and its the only thing she will eat, the little madam!! It is quite expensive compared to standard dog foods out there but I really love that Im giving her the best :) She has mighty mince & I think the extra

Puppy loved the food, had no issue finishing every feed and feeding her has been a breeze adjusting the amounts as she grew using the feed calculator. Delivery service was great, arrived on time and still fully frozen. The only problem that we have is the packaging as the plastic tray and film are not recyclable as some of the competitors packaging is. This is the only reason why we moved away and if this was to change would definitely consider returning.

I don’t usually review but .... after trying a different raw brand which was like mush , so no wonder my dog wouldn’t entertain it , I thought I would give Poppy’s picnic a try as if raw failed at least I could cook it and not be a waste of money. Delivery was quick and trays well packed , my dog absolutely woofed it down , one happy dog and owner , will definitely be using from now on and I highly recommend.

I don't leave a lot of reviews, but I am so pleased with Poppy's Picnics service!
The food is great (my dog let me know that with the empty bowls!) but the customer service is also brilliant.
When I needed to make changes to my subscription the team were really helpful. And then when I decided to cancel the mince subscription and buy the meatballs instead (to better fit in to our routine - it's not always possible for me to feed a raw diet so the meatballs will be a complimentary addition when possible!) the team were also very quick to assist.
2 thumbs (and paws) up for Poppy's Picnic :)

Poppy’s Picnic deserve maximum stars because not only do they produce quality and healthy food for my dog, their customer service and friendly team always make my day. They’ve been beyond helpful every time I’ve had a query or an issue (if there ever has been one!) and my dog has never been happier or healthier, for so many reasons.
The deliveries and way the products are packaged are incredibly useful - we get meatballs and they’re perfect portion sizes for my little pooch and super easy to scoop out and defrost. They’re affordable and I would be absolutely lost without Poppy’s Picnic

It’s easy to write a reply stating you care but this has not been demonstrated, you showed no interest at all in investigating if there was too much bone in the batch of food that nearly killed our puppy. Your team saw our puppy on a regular basis (monthly) and never voiced any concerns. When WE voiced concerns we were directed to your online guide which showed a lower feed amount than we were already giving.
Clearly we are just seen as a monthly subscription!!

This is my second dog on raw food and thanks to Poppy's Picnic my pets have never been so healthy - their coats are wonderful, breath is good, and poo is brilliant as they are smaller and easier to dispose of. Teddy loves the meatballs, so very easy to feed, defrost, keep them in the fridge and use as easy as popping them into the bowl. Teddy loves his food and unlike other foods fed before. he seems completely satisfied with what he eats. The dry food before, Lily's kitchen was good but there was always a problem with reflux -- thankfully now a thing of the past. If you haven't fed raw before
