Fernleigh Wearden & Company Ltd was first established in 1985 by Paul & Alison Wearden as a family run financial advice business under the name Fernleigh Wearden & Co. We have two highly qualified and experienced independent financial advisers who have almost 60 years of experience in the financial services industry between them.

Paul has spent his entire working life in the financial services industry. In 1981, he started work at Britannic Assurance in Preston. He then moved to Abacan, Smith & Patterson in 1983, which was located in central Preston. He became fully qualified in the subsequent years, achieving the highest industry accolade at the time of Fellow of the Life Insurance Industry.
It is very important that you check the Financial Conduct Authority register before choosing a financial adviser. The register provides potential investors with information about the firm which they plan to meet to ensure that they have the qualifications, permissions and, most importantly, regulations, to help you.
As members of the Chartered Insurance Institute, we believe that it is very important that we have a code of ethics which we will follow with all clients. 5.
