Chapter One's Sweet Treats is located just next door the Bistro in Malton's Market Place, and it's not just an ice cream parlour! We also serve amazing takeaway milkshakes & desserts! Our banana, chocolate & strawberry milkshakes are all made with our lovely ice cream and topped with plenty of cream and treats!

We were getting a bit hungry for lunch and decided to go into Malton to see if we could find something light. We did not quite manage the light bit but we had a really good meal at Chapter One.
My partner had the club sandwich with chunky chips and I had the "small" cheese and onion burger with fries.
Both dishes were very generous. The club sandwich was really good and the chips were coated with a very flavoursome coating – my partner really liked the coating whereas I was not so keen. The cooking of the chips was a bit inconsistent with some being over-cooked and some a bit under. The burger
