Until the removal of social distancing law has been confirmed, we will be extending the rule of allowing experienced boaters only. So unfortunately we are no longer allowing novices on board the boats - therefore all hirers will need to have experience of handling boats, the use of locks and mooring etc.
We are so happy with the boat - it is everything we wanted and it is already a home from home. The amount of positive comments we get is amazing. We are so lucky and i am so happy we got you to build it. Thanks so much. Clear timeframe: hull build 6 weeks, internal fit out 12 weeks (dependent on the size and complexity of fit out), painting 4 weeks.

We did a lot of research to find the best boat builder for us and we settled on Aqua Narrowboats. They could not have been more accommodating and helpful and have built us the most gorgeous boat which we are thrilled with. The attention to detail is amazing and the quality of workmanship second to none. They have a very friendly and knowledgeable team who were always on hand to answer questions and help us with all our decisions, giving us lots of options and alternatives. We had our narrowboat The Betty B built by Justin and his team at Aqua, having seen another of his boats at an IWA meeting. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire experience.
Justin guided us through the design and build process and has since been most helpful with advice and excellent follow on maintenance.
The quality of the design and workmanship has been of the highest order plus the entire team has been really friendly and helpful.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Aqua Narrowboats to anyone considering either a new build, or for a holiday on one of their excellent hire craft.

We can’t speak highly enough of Justin and his team at Aqua narrowboats. We started by hiring one of his quality hire boats and then went on to have our own bespoke build.
Justin helped us through all the decision making processes and even coped with our requests for something a bit more contemporary.
He took it all in his stride and we have the most beautiful boat of which we are very proud .... even appearing on the BBC with it.

After seeing a narrow boat built by the Aqua team at Crick we went ahead and signed on the dotted line. We have now had Vera Grace for just under a year and continue to be delighted every time we cruise the canals. the after sales service has been as good as our experience during the build. I highly recommend the team at Aqua is you are considering having a narrow boat built.
