We book a taxi through the app and the booking was confirmed. The booking was made 1 hour and 45 minutes before the pick up. No text, no phone call out of courtesy to say the driver was going to be late! We called the office and they said they could confirm what time the driver will be able to come!!! My question to anyone that is reading this is, how would you feel if you are fully let down by a taxi company that accept a booking and don't turn up??? We cancelled the booking and it ruined the night!!! Thanks to United taxis!!! I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.... as it is NOT a trusted

1 star is too high!!!
Terrible service, needed a taxi to take me to a doctors appointment booked a couple hours in advance. No taxi turned up so called to ask where it was, was told it had been and gone when it most definitely didnt turn up. Called up 4 - 5 times asking where it was and was told it would be rerouted to pick me up or they had called another taxi which were "2 minutes away", none of which turned up. Finally got a taxi 30 mins after the original pick up time after getting terrible service and attitude from the operators making me extremely late for the doctors appointment

Does the job in getting around Bournemouth but it's a bit hit and miss with whether you get a nice driver or not.
Booked yesterday via the app, which just sat on "Getting information..." and never gave me any information about my arriving car. I put in the booking notes that I would be paying by card, it's advertised all over the website and their cars but I thought it was best to let them know given a past experience with them.
Driver arrived and first thing he says is "You want to pay by card?" When I said yes he replied "Can we go via a cash machine instead

Have been using United for over 10 years and was surprised by one of the earlier reviews where one bad experience with one driver is casting a shadow over the whole firm
Don't get me wrong, the practice described is abominable but one bad driver shouldn't be used as an excuse to taint the whole firm
In all the years I have been using them (when living locally in Moordown or when visiting family now that I'm in London) i have never encountered any problems at all. I know that using the logic of my earlier argument that one positive review doesn't make them Cab firm of the year

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
I had to go to Bournemouth today for a meeting and decided to go by train. Upon arrival, I caught a taxi in front of Bournemouth Rail Station--yellow taxi with Streamline Warrens/Radio Cabs logo. The man gave me a quote of 'about £8.00' and was pleasant throughout the journey. He took me directly to my destination in less than 10 mins (in heavy morning rush hour traffic). When we reached the office the metre showed £6.80--and that is what he charged me, even though he quoted £8.00.
However, when I was leaving the meeting, the office offered to call me a taxi

I use this bournemouth based company all the time.. if u live in the area, an you use them regularly, your number and address is stored- an automated voice answers an all you do is press 1 to confirm, an hey presto a taxi arrives.
the automated system works if its a taxi for 4 peeps or less, if you need a bigger car, or would like to pre book your pick up time, stay on the line for a human.
i have never had a problem with this firm, and i wont stop using them..
