Ultracomida began in Aberystwyth in 2001, as a small deli with takeout options which then expanded to include a small cellar seating area. Our primary focus was on cheeses and meats from Spain, France and Wales. From day one, we have imported directly from the producer, with Gomeoliva being one of our very first suppliers.
El Gaitero was born in one of the oldest wineries in Asturias (an area famous for its cider tradition). Owned by Valle, Ballina and Fernandez, the company has maintained its traditional roots from over a century ago, and continues to produce world-renowned, and award winning ciders. A fabulous craft cider mixed with Spanish Tempranillo red grapes.

Foody's paradise by the sea. Spanished-themed deli with every wine, spirit and delicacy from Iberia imaginable. At the back of the shop you can sit at stainless steel counters to be served by friendly staff. The coffee was particularly excellent while the mollette, impanada and fritters served with aioli were outstanding. The range and quality of produce is amazing. Definitely a gourmet gem of Aberystwyth!

Gorgeous little deli. Really cosy inside and a couple of tables outside. We sat outside as we had pup with us. Service was great, very friendly. Nice pace. We had some crab croquettes, chorizo in sauce, bread and olive oil and balsamic. Kids had croissant and toated sandwich with serrano ham. Delicious sherry in a lovely glass. Chilled out, relaxing lunch. Good job.

I've traveled to Spain so many times, and let me say, this place beats so many great Spanish restaurants I've been to that are IN Spain. It's delicious, pretty authentic food. I ordered pan con tomate with Serrano ham and the bread was warm and the meal perfectly put together. They handled my brother's dietary restrictions very well, even making chocolate for his churros with soya milk. The service was amazing too, our server obviously had a lot on her hands but was still super great and handled my brother's allergies super well. Definitely five stars from me. Come here

This was one of my favorite and most memorable meals in the UK. The food here is amazing Spanish Tapas food, served in a very comfortable, unpretentious setting (around one of two huge tables that you share with other guests, or at the bar). The service was personable and they were quick to bring drinks and dishes out. The food was top notch! My favorites were the basic salad, the olives, the patatas bravas, the salt cod (was amazing), and a few others that are now escaping my memory (I'm thinking we had a rabbit and a lamb and a bean dish... and a cheese/meat plate, and another salad

The front of the shop is a deli of sorts, selling things such as olives, honey, oils, and other products from the Iberian peninsula. In the back of the shop is a small cafe-style restaurant, serving a select set menu which was £13 for 2 courses and dessert, as well as a list of about 15 tapas, a full wine menu, lots of lovely coffees and hot chocolate, and other treats as well. This review mainly focuses on the restaurant half of this shop.
The service was quite good. We split a half-liter of sangria which was a solid amount for the two of us. My friend did the fixed menu without the dessert

We thought we were really fortunate when we discovered this little hidden gem in Aberystwyth. There is a wonderful deli at the front of the premises and the food on offer is absollutely excellent and exactly to my taste. At the back of the deli is a very small cafe/restaurant. There is not a lot of seating but what there is is fun. There are a few seats at the high bar and then 2 large round tables. The idea of the tables is that you share the table with whoever else is eating, or if you are a large group you should all be able to sit at the same table. The food is tasty and can be very unusual

Absolutely superb cafe/deli. There is always a large selection of cheeses and meats on offer and the sandwiches and paninis they sell are uniformally first rate.
People will no doubt moan about the price but it is not really that expensive considering the quality on offer. The staff are always helpful and polite, even to students!
Cannot recommend any more highly.

This is a place. If you want to eat then they have a great menu and a few tables at the back of the deli, I think they do a lunch tapas deal as well which is great. Although it is small they have good toilet facilities and highchair so you are ok taking youngsters there. The actual deli is really good as well. Last time we went the guy helped us choose a selection of food to take home and have (we were planning on eating in but there were no seats left) We were able to taste the things he was recommending to see if we liked them and he was full of really helpful suggestions. He didn't persuade

Once you've been in and tasted what this shop has to offer, it's a difficult place to walk past. It is a deli with a restaurant at the back. I haven't ventured into the restaurant yet so can't comment but I do know that they sell the finest cheeses - local and from around the world - I have ever tasted. They always have samples of cheeses and meats to try. Their takeaway panini are too delicious for words - combining their lovely cheeses and tasty meats. Mmmmm! The staff are very knowledgeable and passionate about their subject.
