Somerset Mobile Towbars is a family run business which was established in 1992, and has been providing a mobile towbar fitting service to both trade and private customers throughout Somerset and parts of neighbouring counties. Our aim is to provide you the customer with a first class service provided to your own front door or place of work.
Somerset Mobile Towbars only use fully approved towbars and electrical kits when fitting to customers vehicles. The towbar makes we use are manufactured in the UK by either Tow-Trust Towbars or Witter Towbars.
These two manufacturers are two of the biggest in the UK and the towbars are produced to the highest quality and standards and fully conform to all current EU legislation and are therefore fully certified by the Vehicle Certification Authority (VCA) for fitment to cars and light commercial vehicles.All our towbars carry a manufacturer warranty for the vehicle to which they are originally fitted (visit the manufacturers website for details).

Vehicle Specific Electrical Kits (VSK) are individually developed to meet the requirements of each individual vehicle. They conform with the vehicle manufacturers requirements and when installed will ensure any towing related safety feature is active and functions as required.

It was easy to book a home fitting visit for the tow hitch, and the technician Justin arrived at the appointed hour; he did a great job and I am delighted with the transformation of my little Clio now; changed its use entirely.

An excellent service. Never again will I attempt to fit a towbar myself when there is such a professional service available. The fitter arrived on time and immediately set to the task. Working in a neat methodical manner in no time at all I was left with my much needed removable Towbar. Money very well spent. Thank you!

I had used Somerset Mobile Towbars before and had no hesitation in booking them to fit a towbar to my new car. Getting a quote and booking a slot was easy and I was even phoned the day before to confirm the time of arrival.
He arrived on time, was very friendly, professional and certainly knew what he was doing. 1.25 hours later the job was finished and all the electrics worked perfectly.. Can't fault this company and I would recommend them to anyone, as I have previously done.
So nice to deal with a friendly professional company these days.

Its easy to be good when everything goes right. The true test of outstanding service is how you respond when things go wrong. Lost all my caravan lights and fault turned out to be nothing to do with towbar or its wiring. Fixed at no cost to me beyond my expectations. Fantastic service over and above the bench mark. Highly recommended. And nice people too.

Had our towbar fitted today. We had a message to say what tèthey would arrive. Fitter arrived at exact time fitted the towbar which we were very happy with the work. Th gentleman who did the job was polite and courteous explaining clearly and demonstrating how things work. Highly recommend this company

If your looking to have a tow bar fitted I can’t recommend this company enough. Having them come to you is just fantastic and the speed and professionalism displayed was very impressive. The tow bar was fitted in just over an hour and all works perfectly. They even did it for a good price. It is not often I write reviews but this company really deserves a good write up.
