Physical Graffiti opened in the summer of 2006 by tattoo artist Chris Hatton with the intention of creating a hygienic and friendly tattoo shop that prides itself on good customer care and a very high standard of customtattoo work. Since opening Chris has welcomed Chris Jones, Tasha Pollendine, Paul Crowther, Ian Turner and Richard Pellz to the team of artists.
The shop is located on City Road which is a busy high street just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Cardiff. The majority of tattoos done in the shop are custom designed to meet the client's specifications, but there isa variety of magazines and books in the shop to provide inspiration. We welcomed Rae to the team who is our piercer.

Absolutely amazing! I had a sitting with Tasha. Tasha was fantastic, she put me at ease, very friendly and very talented. I will definitely be booking my next one in with her. Physical graffiti was absolutely spotless, with a great atmosphere and run very well.
Thank you for such a great experience, see you again soon.

Mermaid Rae has mishandled my complaint and I want to share my disappointment. I have had 10 piercings done by Rae, I met her through friends recommendation. 4 of the piercings were lower lobe ones. Most of the piercings I have had have been with really good & positive results.
However, my daith was problematic and had to be removed. Rae has offered to redo my daith piercing but I lost confidence in her ability to do this properly.
The first time she pierced me twice, it bled a lot and it had a nasty bump. My new piercer removed it and it was embedded in my ear. Rae denied it was infected when

Ok so I had my first tattoo from here almost 2 years ago. They were friendly and proffesional. At the time I had some pretty bad bruising but I thought this was normal so I ignored it. Skip to now, all the skin around the tattoo is permanently stained blue. The lines have all run into one another which i expected eventually, but all the skin around the lines which have leaked is all stained blue as well. The biggest patch strecthes about 20mmx30mm above the sun. There is nothing that can be done about this unless I have it covered, and other artists said basically the bloke has been too heavy handed

Since I do a lot of martial arts, I'm taking my piercings in and out almost daily. Occasionally I don't tighten them enough, and the beads will fall out. I went to Physical Graffiti two different times because I'd lost the bead for one of my piercings. Both times the staff was VERY friendly and knowledgeable and easily helped me find the bead that fit my piercing. The piercing area was very clean and sanitized, the bench had paper coverings, and the piercer used gloves (just to fit the bead!).
The next piercing I get will definitely be from Physical Graffiti!

I was completely blown away by my first tattoo - artfully re-created by Chris Hatton at Physical Graffiti. Chris took my initial design and amended it into a unique and beautiful piece of artwork that is commented on by just about everyone I meet - I'm thrilled!
The Physical Graffiti studio is clean, bright and airy with lots of art adorning the walls which is available to purchase.
Both Chris Hatton and Chris Jones are true tattoo artists and I would recommend the guys at Physical Graffiti 100%!!

For custom artwork tattoos and tattoo laser removal services Physical Graffiti offer a hygienic and friendly service. If you have ever watched Miami or London Ink this place has a similar vibe. Tattoo books are available to gain some inspiration and there is a folio fixed to the wall that has a mixture of design work.
The shop is very much a clicky cultural experience, whether you have a tattoo or are thinking about getting one Physical Graffiti can create the artwork all you have to provide is the inspiration.
As with a number of tattoo specialist you can expect to have a consultation, the
