Established in 1983, Kimbledale's principal activity was the fitting of domestic whirlpool systems to baths for the local bathroom retail trade, supplies being brought in from various UK manufacturers and importers. In 1987, the company commissioned injection moulding tools to have its own range of whirlpool components produced, followed in 1989 by tooling for air spa systems.

This enabled Kimbledale to attract bathroom distributors and bath manufacturers to its customer base. Between 1995 and 1997, the in-house injection moulding facility and toolroom were installed.
Services
Injection mouldings can be produced for a fraction of the cost of machined or fabricated components, but where the required quantities of items is relatively low, the usually high cost of tooling severely erodes the savings. Kimbledale specialise in low cost initial tooling and are geared up to provide low volume production on machines up to a capacity of 50 tonnes.
