T. Lyon & Son is currently owned and run by myself, Lewis Macy. I joined and trained under my father Colin in 1986. In 1999 my father retired and I took over the business along with my wife Anita. With Anita and myself we have two qualified masons on our staff with 16 and 35 years of experience working solely for T. Lyon & Son.
T. Lyon & son has been a family run business since 1929. We aim to provide quality and longevity in all our memorial work. Thomas Lyon established the business originally, on it's present site in 1929. Passing down through the family to his son, Robin Lyon, then to my father Colin in 1968. I began working here full time in 1986, eventually taking the reins in 1999 upon my fathers's retirement.
If you find that your memorial over the course of time has fallen into disrepair, we offer an expert renovation service. From cleaning, repairing or re-gliding the lettering, levelling memorials or any safety work required, such as 'ground anchorage', we offer a comprehensive service.

The reguilding and etching has been done so well and we appreciate your help in marking the 100th birthday of our mum. I am so pleased with the speed and efficiency and the friendly sympathetic way you dealt with me at a very difficult time.

Feel TOTALLY Let Down by Lewis..
On the recommendation of Gornals Funeral services, we Arranged to meet Lewis to Discuss putting my Deceased Mothers name on an existing headstone.
He Told us that it would take 5 weeks to complete.
After the 5th week and NO phone call from Lewis and tte the job not done.
I PHONED Him again and was told it would be Another 2 more weeks 😠
So again at the end of the 2nd week i AGAIN had to phone Lewis to see if the job had been completed..
To My Surprise the job still hadn't been completed. He then Promised that it would be definitely done in Another 2 more
