Clare qualified as a physiotherapist in 2003 and worked at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust for 10 years. She specialised in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal outpatients, and gained experience in many areas, including musculoskeletal and post-operative orthopaedic physiotherapy, lower limb rehabilitation, sports injuries and core stability.
The practice is situated in peaceful and friendly surroundings on Ox Hill, just off Deepwell Avenue, at Halfway, Sheffield, S20 4SX. We are at the end of the cul-de -sac, where there is ample free parking available. The practice is newly refurbished to the highest standard and has disabled access. We aim to provide a pleasant and professional physiotherapy service to all our clients in the relaxing atmosphere of our clinic.
Acupuncture (the insertion of sterile, fine needles into specific points on the body) - may help to reduce pain and muscle spasm, release trigger points and tight soft tissue. Exercise - to help restore movement, increase strength, reduce muscle tightness / stiffness and balance.
Screening / functional assessment - full body 'MOT', to identify areas that may be prone to injury, allowing preventative measure to be put in place and may improve performance.Advice on managing your condition, pain relief, adaptations you may find useful and how to prevent symptoms worsening or recurring in the future.

This will consist of thorough questioning about your condition, any relevant medical history and details about your social activities to enable the physiotherapist to understand your condition and the effects it has on your lifestyle. A physical examination will then be carried out, and the affected area exposed, so please dress appropriately.
