Hotel is terribly run down and smells stale and musty throughout. The rooms are inadequate and not particularly clean. There is a nice little bar area but that's as much as you can say. Apparently they are in the process of refurbishment so it may be nicer once completed, however the room I had was supposed to have already been done , yet some garish pink wallpaper on one wall was as much as had changed 🤦. It's one saving grace were the staff who were helpful, polite and chatty. Well done staff, you alone are what my two stars are for! 👍

If there was a minus option, then it would receive -5. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
Room was atrocious. Stank of stale cigarettes, even has a flat roof outside of window which was littered in cigarette ends.
Everything I took with me went straight in the wash when I got home!
Bed was clean, but that’s about it. Broken lamp on top of the wardrobe, which had a broken door. If I’d have had my toddler with me, it’s likely if he touched the door it would have fallen in on him.
Very disappointed and would like management to get back to me.

I'm not sure if some people have been paid to leave reviews, but they must have stayed in a different hotel to me. The place is beyond run down. The whole place stinks of stale cigarette smoke, and this morning you can add weed to that list. Bathroom had mold all over the walls, extractor fan didn't work, shower options were take you skin off hot, or a luke warm dribble. At £125 for just a room and what seemed like some reasonable reviews, i was expecting a lot more, what I got was a disgusting, damp, smelly room, with paper thin walls, were you could hear the person in the next room just breathing

Very rundown and falling apart, old musty smell as you enter. Used, dirty towels in the bathroom and used cups by the kettle. One of the pillows was dirty. We were not sure if the room had even been cleaned so we decided to leave straight away. We didn't want to stay the night. No apology from reception staff. Would not recommend.
