I fell into wedding photography by chance and immediately knew it was something I wanted to pursue. I get to swoon over the venue styling, witness hilarious speeches and see the bride in her dress for the first time. I'm very lucky to call this my job! My style is relaxed, informal and creative. I love documenting honesty and real moments as well as beautiful, unique shots of you together.
How long have you been a wedding photographer? I've been a full time wedding photographer for 8+ years having shot 200+ weddings throughout the UK and Europe. I work alone for most weddings, unless you request a second photographer where I offer half day or full day options. Every wedding is different but I would always cover roughly 2 hours before the ceremony and a few songs after first dance.

Emilie May was the perfect photographer to capture our big day. She was super friendly, professional and blended right in; all of our guests kept telling us how relaxed they felt around her, and that's exactly how we both felt throughout the day. And that was before we even saw the photos! We can't even put into words how much we love them. I couldn't stop crying when I saw them, and we've been looking at them constantly ever since receiving them. I can't recommend Emilie enough – she was absolutely brilliant at every moment. She slotted in perfectly with the girls as we got ready and managed to capture all the fun candid moments throughout the day – our guests commented that they barely noticed her taking photos. For two people who were incredibly nervous about the photography side of things, she also made the group shots feel natural and relaxed. She even stuck around for the evening party! We love the photos we've seen so far, and can't wait to see the rest!

Emilie is an absolute gem. We could not be happier with the pictures we now have our wedding day. Being a plus size bride with low confidence in front of a camera, I was very worried about having someone following me round all day but I needn't have worried at all! She captured the best of me and made both of us feel at ease almost instantly.
If you want someone who is able to capture all of those special moments that you may have forgotten about then Emilie is for you!
It also rained pretty much non-stop on our wedding day but that didn't stop us from capturing some beautiful photos.

Emilie had been booked to capture our wedding celebration on 19th September (with 70 guests) in Clitheroe. But, Coronavirus.
Instead, Emilie joined me, my now husband and six guests, post wedding ceremony at the Manchester Registry Office on 17th September (which had a Covid19 secure capacity of 8 people per wedding) to capture our small wedding reception.
The photos are incredible, and capture, despite everything, such a special and memorable day. Emilie was so creative and used city centre architecture as such original backdrops to our photos.

Great photographer. Not only are the photos brilliant but she's also a fun person to have at the wedding. She spoke to people, had time for a chat and wasn't even noticeable at the church. Because she made time to speak to guests, she captured some great moments and group shots. Definitely recommended.

Just the kindest, loveliest soul to have around you on your wedding day. She slotted in to the wedding morning with the girls with ease, feeling like we had another friend with us snapping away.
Both my husband and I commented once we received the photos that we didn't even notice her stood with us and the registrar...very discreet but perfectly capturing every moment we had together.

Emilie did such an incredible job of shooting our wedding. She was so discreet and friendly, and captured the most amazing images of our special day. As people who aren't fans of having our photographs taken she made us feel at ease and really comfortable, giving us great tips and supporting us to get the most natural shots. We're so happy with the results and can't recommend her highly enough.

Emilie was so much more than a photographer, she got me in my dress, chatted away to guests, helped with the running of the day. We couldn’t have been without her! She really did make our day so much more special!
