Services
Our team offers the entire range of modern dentistry services to keep your teeth healthy and beautiful throughout your life, from preventative care to tooth replacement. Here's a quick overview of the types of treatments we provide. This costs 80 and includes all necessary x-rays, full mouth cancer screening, periodontal assessment as well as checking the condition of all your teeth and their restorations.
Our dental hygienists specialise in improving your mouth's health and in advising you how best to care for your teeth and gums. Their treatment will minimise the risk of gum disease, help provide a solid foundation for your teeth and also help ensure fresh breath confidence. Commonly known as 'Gum Disease', periodontal disease is the process of loss of support to your teeth.
What is a Filling? A filling is a way to restore a tooth damaged by decay back to its normal function and shape. When a dentist gives you a filling, he or she first removes the decayed tooth material, cleans the affected area, and then fills the cleaned out cavity with a filling material. By closing off spaces where bacteria can enter, a filling also helps prevent further decay.
What are Dental Crowns and Tooth Bridges? Both crowns and most bridges are fixed prosthetic devices. Unlike removable devices such as dentures, which you can take out and clean daily, crowns and bridges are cemented onto existing teeth or implants, and can only be removed by a dentist. How do Crowns Work?
Facial rejuvenation treatment involves treating some of the muscles of facial expression in such a way that their movement is relaxed. This in turn reduces the appearance of some facial lines, creases and wrinkles. Most people want facial rejuvenation treatment because they do not like the lines, creases and wrinkles that have developed as part of the natural ageing process.

Rochester Lodge has been my dental practice for many years and has always provided excellent service. Recently I have had my teeth straightened using the Invisalign process and I am truly delighted with the results. Dr Ali was excellent and guided me through the process and undertook all the treatments and it was quick, simple and very, very effective. I could not recommend both Dr Ali and Invisalign more highly, I wish I had done the treatment years ago!

I was referred to Dr James Aquilina for a root canal treatment this year, and I am so glad that I was. From the first consultation to the treatment itself Dr James Aquilina was reassuring with his expertise and professionalism. I had the treatment done this week and I am thrilled with the results. I am no longer in pain from a bad tooth even though I was told I may experience some after the treatment. I haven't felt a thing- not during or post treatment! Just to compare, I've had a root canal experience before with another practice and it was far from pleasant, that painful experience resulted

Having had some dubious dentistry when younger, I have never been anything but truly delighted with both the treatment received and the care taken over the years I have attended this practice. Every patient is made to feel valued, from the lovely reception staff to the dentists themselves. Emergency treatment is outstanding, and very much appreciated too! Going to the dentist is not the scary experience it used to be. The excellent Covid-secure measures have meant that they can continue to treat everyone with whatever treatment is required. Thanks to all concerned.

Not sure about reviewing a dentist - I don't go there for pleasure! However, they have been looking after my teeth for 20 years or more so given the state they were in, they've done me pretty well, at a cost! However, a friendly staff - dentists, hygienists and reception - usually make the visit not too traumatic!

I get very anxious having to visit the dentist especially a new dentist. I would just like to say how amazing the staff are at Rochester Lodge. They are very welcoming and friendly. My dentist Ali was super, made me feel relaxed from the get go, he also explained everything which helped my anxiety to lower. So happy that I signed up to this dental practice, would highly recommend 👍

I can't recommend Rochester Lodge Dentist enough. I'm nervous about dentist visits but Ali and Helen made me feel so at ease. The receptionist was so friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience and, in my opinion, worth paying a little extra for the quality of care. Thank you, Rochester Lodge.
