We are very much a family-run business, it's just me and Simon that work there and we run it between us. It's been in our family for over 15 years and over the past few years we have really focussed on growing the school uniform part of the business. We live in Bromsgrove and our children attend Bromsgrove schools, so we are very much a part of Bromsgrove Community life, both personally and professionally.
Although the vast majority of our business is school uniform, we carry a range of sports accessories such as swimming goggles, mouth guards, shin pads, and footballs. We put the hugest emphasis on customer service. We treat customers as we like to be treated ourselves and believe customer service is of paramount importance to a successful business.

Services
We supply printed and embroidered workwear and garments to many local businesses, pre-school nurseries, sporting clubs, dance academies, DofE hoodies etc. Embroidering and printing on-site, means our turnaround times are very quick and costs can remain competitive. Our bespoke embroidery service is carried out on-site and there is no minimum quantity however please be aware our embroidery programmes incur a one-off set-up charge.

At S&H Schoolwear and Sports we understand that purchasing a new school uniform can be costly and we wanted to do something to help. With this in mind, we developed a 'Put By Service' which has been running successfully for many years and allows families to spread the cost of uniform over a few months.
Our school uniform shop is the first business in Bromsgrove to gain the prestigious Autism Friendly Award. To earn the accolade, presented by the National Autistic Society, S&H Schoolwear on Church Street fulfilled five criteria outlined by the charity.
These included providing customers with information about autism-friendly approaches, staff and volunteers having an understanding of the condition and how it affects people, and ensuring the physical environment is not daunting to those with autism.Shops or organisations also have to offer a welcoming customer experience to people with autism and display an ongoing commitment to raising awareness.

At such a difficult time in our lives, Helen went above and beyond to help my foster son with not 1 but 2 uniforms as we didn’t know what school he would get into. She invited us to come in and was amazing from the get go and even bought both of the boys and bag of chocolate.

My anxiety was high at the thought of buying a complete new uniform for middle school proved so unnecessary. We attended at our appointed time to be met by friendly, smiling faces. We were shown upstairs and allowed to try on clothing at our leisure. The staff were so helpful. My daughter left saying the personal service was amazing and she's really looking forward to starting middle school. Thank you

Absolutely shocking service! I went in for my south bromsgrove uniform was i greeted my the manager and his wife who was very rude and unhelpful!! Overally priced products, when I complained about the service I heard them swearing about it upstairs when I was with my 7 year old child, complaint in to South! Appalling how some people in business treat the customers who put food on their plate
