Our horse care service covers the day to day care of your horse whilst you are away on holiday, out for a day or busy at work. Peace of Mind pet care offer a range of pet care services to suit you and your pets needs, we can visit pets at their own home, house sit in your home or board them in our home.

Peace of Mind Pet Care was established in 2003 and is owned and ran by Sofie an ex vet nurse with 22 years of pet care and veterinary experience. I have used Peace of Mind Pet Care since the first day I brought Daisy home at 10 weeks old; from at home puppy care, through puppy walking and now onto daily walking and have used a couple of dog walkers and home boarding while on holidays. In that time I have been more than happy with the service and Daisy has thrived into a happy and fit dog.
Pets are generally happier and more relaxed when left in the comfort of their own home with a pet carer coming in to visit them. Pets such as cats for example do not know that when you drop them off to an unfamiliar caged environment that you are coming back for them and this can lead to anxiety, stress and general lack of wellbeing.
This service is available for dogs, cats and other small animals. Your pet will come and stay with one of our carer's in their home where they will be treated like one of the family. We try to stick as closely as possible to the pet's normal routine such as feed times and our carers will provide plenty of exercise and attention.
Dogs need regular exercise in order to stay physically and mentally fit and healthy. Dogs who receive a couple of good walks per day are less likely to develop behavioural problems and health issues such as obesity. Our dog walking service comes with total flexibility to help you provide the essential exercise that your dog needs.

Peace of mind pet care does exactly what it says on the tin- it gives you complete peace of mind! We have our first family pets- two kittens- and Sofie was brilliant in talking us through the options for care both during the day whilst we are at work and when we go on holiday. Kate (our carer) is reliable and trustworthy and obviously really cares about the animals. She makes sure that she spends some time with them and does not just dump the food and leave. This is so reassuring. I would highly recommend Peace of Mind Pet Care to anyone. Thank you to Sofie and the whole team!

I have used Peace of Mind Pet Care for nearly 8 years now and highly recommend them. I used to put my two cats into a cattery but, after a bad experience that affected the health of one of them, I wanted the reassurance that they would be well looked after in an environment they knew and wouldn't be stressed by. They now stay at home and Kate comes in to feed them. She looks after them both so well, as if they were her own; she texts me to let me know how they're doing and they are certainly very content when we get back! The booking process is really easy and efficient too - thank you Sofie!
