Fir Tree Farm is a professional but friendly yard owned and run by husband and wife team, David and June Simmonds with the help of Kealy Eede. June is an accredited Enlightened Equitation Teacher (Level 2) and can offer lessons on the Equisimulator designed by Heather Moffett whom June continues to train with.
She is also Reiki Master and Teacher and a Angelic Multidimensional Healing Master Teacher and a certified Equine Assisted Learning Facilitator. June and Kealy are BHS qualified but if you associate such phrases as "dominate", "force","show them who is boss", "give him a kick!" "If he wont do it whack him" etc then Fir Tree Farm Equestrian Centre is not for you.

We believe it is important that all horses and ponies are treated and handled as individuals. We genuinely care for all of the horses and ponies that live here as our own. Brought in, basic groom, and rugs changed. Use of 60 x 20m floodlit arena. Bedding can be bought from us or you can purchase yourself - we do not have straw beds on the yard.

Enlightened Equitation has become renowned as a philosophy encouraging the humane training of the horse and simple logical teaching of the rider. EE founder, Heather Moffett, has set out to provide a better system which 'should be clear to the horse, but not obvious to the onlooker. June is proud to be accredited by Heather Moffett as a Level Two Enlightened Equitation Teacher and can now also offer lessons using the Equisimulator.
