So often, untrained advisors get your available income wrong. They see you as 'self employed' and tar you with the same brush as everyone else who works for themselves. I'll make no bones about it. Since the credit crunch, lenders are more aware of the risk balance of their loan book. And 9 times out of 10, a lender will see an employee as lower risk than someone who works for themselves.
Your self-employed status will help us determine which lenders we can package your mortgage application to. If you own more than 25% shares in a Limited Company, your mortgage borrowing will be assessed on a self-employed Basis. I called up Self-employed mortgages out of desperation as my existing broker was unable to get my mortgage approved at the eleventh hour.
From the outset, George was helpful, asked me all the right questions (something my previous broker had failed to do) about my situation and said he thought he might be able to help.
Within an hour he had called me back having spoken to a mortgage provider and said he was confident they could help.
I am delighted to say that mortgage approval was given within 5 weeks, despite the COVID backlog,

Freelancer Financials organised our mortgage 5 years ago, and have just helped us fix for another 5 years at a fantastic rate.
