I reserved a private room here for a party of 20 but only 15 of my guests were able to make it. However, the owner was very accommodating, and gave us food for 20 but only charged us for 15. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant and will most certainly be back.

Totally overpriced....and a bit sneaky. We ordered off their specials menu which had no prices. I guess we probably should have asked. Although I figured the prices would have been comparable to the their regular menu. Honesty I ended up paying $40 for a plate that had 5 shrimp on it with spinach. This was at least $15 more than most other items on menu. Also it was loaded with whole cloves of practically raw garlic. I don't know many people that would want to accidently bite into a piece. Lastly the staff was complaining among themselves about the amount of tables they had to wait. You could read

Updated review from 2 to 4. Went back a 2nd time and overall experience was much better. Truffle oil burrata appetizer was great, but they should have shaved the melon or made it easier to assemble in plate. The veal chop I had was great but expensive special at $45, came with two types of potatoes (not sure why). Pancetta pasta was delicious but needed more texture. Wanted a pizza but unfortunately they said they were short staffed (understandable in current climate) so no one was working the brick oven. It's an amazing looking oven so I was disappointed! (All their pizza doughs

La Lupa in north haven is the best place around. Good atmosphere, delicious food and very attentive staff. We didn’t have a reservation and we were accommodated by the hostess right away in a busy night. Very caring and kind people. I have been there few times and I never had a bad experience. The staff is exceptional friendly and attentive. Food comes hot , big portions and delicious from the kitchen.. I have eaten many restaurants and no one cares like La lupa staff... Five stars to the front row and kitchen staff!

Never disappoints! The staff is amazing, food is the best around. I don’t understand people complaining about prices. Everywhere special menu is more expensive, you can always ask for prices. Nowhere you get more attentive service and delicious food around. We go there once a week and to say the staff is complaining about being busy is outrageous! Everyone always greets us with a smile.I already know what I’m trying next week( if it will be on their specials)- Stuffed Shrimp! Keep rocking La Lupa!

I have been to La Lupa a few times, but my mother and her husband go very often. The food is incredibly delicious, and the portion sizes are unreal (at least leftovers for one meal). This last trip I joined them for dessert, and had an excellent tiramisu; just the right balance of creaminess, sweetness and coffee flavor AND enough to take home. This spot is definitely worth checking out.

I had the pleasure of taking my daughter and wife out for lunch. It was my daughter's pre birthday gift and we landed at La Lupa in North Haven.
Since covid relaxing we ventured out and had a very impressive meal.
Started with an order of fried calamari , the ladies ordered the pan seared salmon and I had the veal dish.
Our waitress was very accommodating and plesant.
I will say the portions were extraordinary, the quality was above my expectations and everyone left with a doggie bag.
I give them 5 stars and highly recommended them. $$
