At Yarn Loft the shelves are filled with top quality yarn brands from Isager, Malabrigo and Noro. We hold a fabulous selection of sock yarns from Regia and Schoppel Wolle. We work closely with several UK yarn companies including Fyberspates, Jamieson & Smith, Patons, Rowan, West Yorkshire Spinners.

All our yarns are well supported with pattern books. We are proud to be the Nottingham stockist of Kate Davies Designs. Laine and PomPom publications. To help you with your favourite projects we stock an extensive range of knitting needles, crochet hooks and accessories from Addi, Chiaogoo, Clover, KnitPro and Milward.

I am extremely pleased with my experience of shopping at Yarn Loft. I received professional advice regarding yarn I needed for a project. Doreen even calculated for me how many skeins of yarn I would need and compared it for me between the two chosen options. This is the first physical shop in the area I found that has a good range of very good quality natural fibers yarn at different price points. I am also impressed with the range of accessories, needles, buttons etc. This was the first time I have been to the shop, but certainly not the last one.

I contacted The Yarn Loft a week ago through Facebook messenger and asked to be sent a mystery box. They told me to make an order. After thinking it over, they chose the most wonderful combination of yarns local to the UK that may not be available in the US. My package arrived just about a week later and I couldn't be any happier. Within a day they sent me an invoice and the yarn was mailed right away.
Amazing customer service. If I ever travel to the UK, I know I have to stop by. Thank you so much.

Fantastic place to spend a few hours. It's the knitting shop equivalent to a lovely candy shop. You will gorge yourself with quality yarns and patterns.

LOTS OF LOVELY SQUISHY YARN!!! Good for a knit and natter on a saturday morning too- a nice strong coffee to wake you up surrounded by fine yarn and knitty friends!!! :)

Hate to publish anything negative and usually wouldn’t bother, but this store had absolutely awful customer service and I wouldn’t recommend going as it’ll sadly dampen your mood. The lady running the store was very rude and patronising after we had travelled all over Nottingham looking for a nice wool store. I would rather order online or travel further as opposed to being in a store with someone who was so disinterested in helping or being polite to us and would rather be on her mobile or simply be rude in response to questions of genuine interest. Very disappointing 👎
