Borthwick Memorials have built up the business by delivering a personal service of the highest quality, based on trust and recommendation. At our Hartlepool based office and workshop, we employ a team of stonemasons, craftsmen and BRAMM accredited fixers with years of experience and knowledge to help provide you with the highest possible standards of workmanship.
Whilst we offer new memorials, at Borthwick Memorials we are also able to add inscrptions to an existing headstone or memorial. In most instances, this involves removing the memorial from the cemetery, however on occasions where this is not possbile, we can also make changes on-site. Our craftsmen are able to add your chosen inscription so that it beautifully complements the orginal design.

I cannot praise this firm highly enough. I live nearly 400 miles away in somerset & arranged a memorial headstone for a plot in durham . I would not have been able to do this from so far away without the help & assistance from Sarah. She has been great in helping me organise this & with the relevant authorities. & the headstone was laid last week, slightly later than planned, but they kept me posted about timescales the whole time & apologied for the delay. I would highly recommend to anyone needing this service . First class

At borthwick you get a very professional attitude and very very helpful at this sad time we were going through and I would recommend anyone who has to pick a headstone. They are very good value for money compared to others and from picking our headstone it Only took 4 wks start to finish so we would like to thank the staff at borthwick....
