After a very disappointing experience with a large High St agent, we moved to Robinson’s. They uploaded our brochure online on a Friday, had lined up a viewing the following Wednesday, with a serious offer made on the Thursday.

Booked to see a property, was initially accommodating and helpful over the phone. Estate agent was late arriving to the property and very casual in his manner when he did get there. Quite dismissive and rude in nature, then proceeded to whistle loudly whilst we looked around the house, this was not only hugely irritating but disrespectful and showed a lack of interest. Sarcastically answered questions about the property and told us “a road is a road” when asking about the volume of traffic nearby, a basic question you’d expect an estate agent to be able to answer without flippancy. We have now bought two properties through Robinson Estate Agents and sold both those properties with Robinson Estate Agents and when making the decision to sell last year, Eddie was the first and only person we called. We have always enjoyed dealing with Eddie; he is professional, personable and is always on the end of the phone or text when required. Tried to buy my first property through this agent last year. He informed me that I had been gazumped even though I had already paid solictors fees and he had agreed a price for us and accepted it on the vendors behalf. He informs me via WhatsApp message (not even an email ) that the house has been sold by vendor to a private buyer and it's out of his control (clearly Eddie is not taken seriously by vendors). I wouldn't use him ever again. I wasted alot of time, money and it was overall a very stressful pushy experience.

Eddie was the estate agent acting on behalf of the vendors we purchased from, so wasn't actually representing us. Even so, we were so impressed by Robinson we wanted to provide a review. Excellent communication, right from the start when we got in touch to let them know we were on the market, they only contacted us with properties that were relevant, then through the negotiation and sale Eddie was professional, easy to get hold off and very open and honest.
