Fully pedestrianised and supervised by security at all times, The Beacon offers a safe and welcoming environment that is a central part of the community.

Commercialisation Report

We have a number of commercialisation vehicles including retail merchandising units (RMU's) which are available for rent through the promotional company (Forum CentreSpace) who also book space on the main malls for short-term rent. The Beacon Shopping Centre is a very successful neighbourhood shopping centre benefitting from good customer loyalty and high footfall.

So sad to see so many empty shopping units
There is not one shop open at the top end towards the library

It's a dump ! Nothing there apart from getting into wilko l rate this place 2/5 not worth going back there northshileds is run down ghost town needs a good clean out a run down dump l recommended u don't go there ! Needs better shops in there a run down dirty dump seen better places mutch cleaner needs a good upgrade right this moment its a dump that's a 100 per cent fact a dump

This place has went downhill for the past few years, especially since covid. Half the shops are closed. It used to have a great buzz about the place and it was always busy.

This was a quick visit as we had dropped a friend off at a local dentist. I was impressed with the Covid safety measures. Clear one-way system and markings. Sadly the Centre appears to be suffering like many others with a number of shops closed. I did like the banking area at one end.
