S.M.A.R.T repair (Small and Medium Area Repair Techniques) is a system for repairing minor scuffs or scrapes in isolation, without the need to impact the rest of the panel. Once upon a time, not too long ago, even minor dents and scuffs often required repair or replacement of entire panels and a large scale paint job.
Bodywork Direct offer a choice of ways to service your car ensuring it is maintained and minimising the risk of breakdown in the long run. Carried out by highly trained mechanics, and using parts which match the quality of the Manufacturers Originals, our interim service should be carried out every 6 months or 6000 miles.
All vehicles ages 3 years and over require an MOT and must pass an annual test by law, to establish they are roadworthy. Bodywork Direct are a Department of Transport approved testing centre and carry out impartial MOT inspections usually within 45mins to hour. All our tests are carried out on our 1 man test lanes and include brake tests and emissions print outs.
There are many reasons to get your air conditioning recharged besides the most obvious one being to keep you and your passengers cool on journeys in hot weather. Keeping cool isnt just good for you and your passengers, it also benefits your wallet! When your air conditioner refrigerant is low, the air-con system struggles to cool air efficiently and so begins to work harder, consequently using more fuel.

I managed to do a good job smashing in the passenger side of my car. Took my car in and they have done an even more spectacular job repairing it - cant tell it was ever damaged. Customer service was excellent, very welcoming and professional. They said it could take 7 to 10 days to repair, and I got it back in shining condition in less than a working week. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for the excellent job!

Valeted car inside and out, left it in showroom condition. Update: 28/08/20. Second time contacted Body Work Direct and again totally FANTASTIC brilliant. Had a bad tyre puncture and was so bad I couldn't get to them, asked them to come to me and they did. Live locally. Also gave me a fair price and as done out of hours said come in anytime to pay. Decent, honest people and will pay as soon as open after Bank Holiday. This outfit

Bob who picked up our car car was friendly, polite and reassuring and Stephen in the body shop put our minds at rest and talked me through what was parts and work was to be done ,which was completed in a few weeks to a very high standard my wife and I are over the moon with the finished product the car looked like it had just come out the showroom .I have no hesitation in recommending Bodywork Direct to family and friends whatsoever.

Absolutely superb customer service. Had my Van recovered to them on Friday afternoon with break issues and left it for them to inspect. Got a call late in the day to say they could fix it the following week. Being absolutely stuck without it, I asked if there was anyway it could be done sharpish. Body Work Direct totally pulled the stops out and… had it fixed the next day, putting in overtime on a Saturday and even picking me up so I didnt have to walk down in the rain! Staff are helpful, friendly and easy to deal with, I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this great business

My beloved Audi A4 was sent to Bodywork Direct by LV as one of their approved repairers for some bodywork repair (it's all in the name really). Everyone I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. I was quoted 7-10 days by the insurer for the repairs to be complete but it only took the guys 5 days. When I picked the car up the rear parking sensors… weren't working, so the lads dropped everything, pulled it into the workshop and had it sorted within minutes. A complementary wash and valet was done on my car, which they do for every vehicle they deal with and it looked showroom fresh. It actually
