With 30 miles of beautiful Atlantic coastline to admire, there can't be many campsites with a view or location like ours. It's no wonder that many of our guests return year after year for their fill of sea Ayr! Whether you're a traditional under-canvas camper or love the comfort of a modern caravan, you'll find the holiday you want at Ayr.
We have something for everyone, with a combination of luxurious holiday caravans, self-catering apartments, and touring pitches. Ayr is open all year - so if you're looking for a summer seaside holiday or prefer the peace and beauty of the Cornish winter, we're an excellent base (and we've made sure the shower blocks are extra-cozy for off-season guests!).

Services
Our largest two-bedroomed caravans have stylish accommodation and views out across the ocean. These deluxe caravans have everything you need for a wonderfully relaxing holiday - including sea views. The wonderful Seascape Caravan is new for 2019 and certainly boasts an intelligent use of space with all the living.
As an alternative to the static caravans, we also have two well-appointed apartments available. These comfortable holiday homes are perfect if you want the facilities and atmosphere of the park, but prefer a solid roof over your head! We especially recommend our apartments for winter breaks, so you can enjoy the beauty of the winter sea from the comfort of your sofa.
There's nothing like a holiday under canvas, or in the comfort of your own caravan or camper. At Ayr, we have pitches for tents, motor-caravans and touring caravans. Most of the touring and camping pitches have stunning views across St Ives Bay and out over the sea. The site is naturally sloping; however, terracing keeps the pitches level, while ensuring that more guests have those fabulous outlooks.
At Ayr, we have some of the best campsite views in Cornwall - but for many of us, a holiday park is only as good as its showers and toilets! So, we've really invested in our facilities, making sure that our guests have high quality and well-maintained amenities. As we're open all year, it was especially important to make sure that the shower rooms are warm and inviting.
We're so lucky at Ayr to be the only campsite actually in St Ives - which means you can be in the town or on the beach in minutes, without having to worry about parking. Located on the beautiful clifftops above St Ives Bay, it's a short stroll down into the centre of town. It's around a ten-minute walk into St Ives from Ayr Holiday Park.

Caution: there’s major excavations onsite at present. Pile driving and loading trucks through the site starting just after 7am and lasting all day.
When we booked they did inform us of building work that we imagined was some journey and brick laying.
This is more like the excavations for a skyscraper!
Apart from that, the facilities are good and the view of St Ives excellent.

As ever, Ayr holiday park ( tourers) lived up to expectations... the elevated all service pitches have a commanding view over the bay. Being the ONLY touring site in the town, it is a 10 -15 min walk into town/ beaches. Yes it is on the top of a hill but it adds to the beauty of the location.
St Ives is a wonderful place to visit, it's full of independent quality shops/ cafes and restaurants. My favourite shop...the DIY Hardwear shop boasting the slogan" if we haven't got it, you probably don't need it". We'll definitely return to Ayr holiday park time and time again.

I only visited, but kids stayed in vans and they're Yurt and views and facilities are v good and closeness to the surfing at Porthmeour beach and all the rest of St Ives. Bit of a treck to toilets in the night but that depends on your pitch and is probably the same at most sites unless the block is very central.

Great holiday park with a mixture of static caravans, tourers, tents and motorhomes. Located a short walk from the centre of St Ives although the walk up is steep in places. Amenities block was very well appointed and immaculate. Site has excellent views. Local shop only a 5 min walk. Highly recommended 👌

Very well kept site with the full suite of facilities available including an indoor pool and on-site restaurant (which serves food pretty much all day). All the showers/toilets were very clean and looked after. It's only about a 10min walk down to Porthmeor Beach and 15-20mins to the harbour which is great. My only critisicm would be that the site is quite expensive relative to others in the area.
