We are a bunch of dedicated VW camper enthusiasts who have decided to make our hobby into a small business. We want others to be able to get the same joy from driving and camping in these wonderful vehicles as we do. In 2016 we bought a series of vans from a US desert junkyard and have been working to restore them ever since.
Our classic VW vans provide the perfect way to see the Portuguese coast and villages your way and at your own pace. Pick up your van from Sintra and head immediately to the coast, take some surf lessons in Ericeira and then trundle up the cost to practice your new skills. Enjoy the luxury of taking a holiday without strict itineraries and limitations.
We are based just outside Sintra and around 40 minutes from Lisbon International Airport. We prefer to do the introduction and safety briefing at our base but sometimes we can do this at your hotel. Talk to us. We are close to many fantastic sites, beaches, surf breaks and hiking trails and MTB downhill trails.

Absolutely amazing you must try vw camper for yourselves. I was looking for something different for the family during half term and a friend suggested hiring camper van. Something that I had always wanted to do but never actually done. Living in Sudbury I found VW Camper who are local to me and booked via their website. Pick up went smoothly and we were out on the open road within an hour. The van itself is very spacious and has all the mod cons you would want. Shower, toilet, cooker, fridge etc. The beds are really comfy and we had no complaints whatsoever. I will definitely be booking again!

Decided on a last minute break and a friend had recommended VW Camper. They are only half an hour away from us so we called and booked that day. Got a really good last minute deal and the camper and facilities are brilliant. We had a great time and will be booking again. BBQ was a nice touch, thanks!
