P.D.Bannister is a family owned business which was started in 1973 as a milk round delivering to the local doorsteps in and around Bradford. Peter Bannister saw a market delivering parcels and incorporated that with the milk business. As demand grew so did the beginnings of P.D Bannister Haulage.
Peter introduced his son David Bannister into the business and between them started to run 7.5 tonne vehicles followed by 16 tonne rigid vehicles which became the backbone of the company although still running from the back yard of the family home.In 1992 The 1st warehouse was a 10,000 sq ft mill and the site housed the fleet of vehicles which included a new freight forwarding contract.

Our warehousing is controlled by a best in class WMS system using the latest in RFID and barcode technology, allowing real-time stock management and client's access to detailed stock data through a variety of web, email and direct communication.
P.D Bannisters provide a comprehensive contract packing service. Offering bespoke solutions to our customers relabelling, repacking, disclaiming and packing restoration needs. Working with some of the biggest names in retail, we employ over 40 full time staff specializing in contract packing to currently supply over 4000 hand stacked units per week for in-store delivery.
