Services
The Future Legal Services business has been in operation since 2006 and has provided Estate Planning services for clients all across the country. From humble beginnings, Future Legal Services have grown into a company that has provided Estate Planning services for over 30,000 clients. We are RECOGNISED AS ONE OF THE COUNTRY'S LEADING WILL WRITING AND ESTATE PLANNING PROVIDERS.
There is a natural degree of uncertainty when buying any type of product or service today, which will not be delivered until it is needed sometime in the future. When choosing a provider of legal services, it is essential that you and your family have the peace of mind that in the unlikely event that things should go wrong, you will be protected.
For most people writing their Will is incredibly straightforward. But, as modern life becomes more complex, some people may require additional estate planning services in order to safeguard the future of their loved ones. So, should your personal situation require it, your consultant will discuss further estate planning services with you.
If you die without making a Will, you have died "intestate" and your estate will be distributed under the Law of Intestacy incorporated in the Administration of Estates Act 1925. The law dictates who will administer your estate and they may not be the people you trust most with your family's inheritance.
When you make your Will you will be asked to name Executors for your estate. For most people this will be their children or family members. These Executors are legally responsible for administering your estate in accordance with the terms of your will AND crucially, the law. An executor has significant responsibilities.

Do not use this firm, I have been asking them for more than 4 weeks for my husband's Will to be sent to me and so far it hasn't arrived. If it hasn't arrived by tomorrow 17th June 2021 I am getting in touch with the Legal Ombudsman because I am really angry now at not getting a response from them. Do they think we're all stupid and don't know the law. What is so difficult as putting the Will in an envelope and posting it out.

My Mother passed away almost 4 years ago and probate has not even started. After charging her nearly £3000 to change her Will with the assurance their "legal team" will sort out her estate after her death they have done NOTHING. The name is apt...they'll give you their Legal Services in the Future....and as we all know, the future never comes. AVOID LIKE COVID 19 (or the plague)

Couldn’t fault the service of this company. My elderly Mother and her long term partner needed Wills drawn up. They are quite immobile and not trusting of strangers and the Wills were not straight forward. They had a home visit and were put at ease instantly. Andy was very gentle and kind to them and explained everything in layman’s terms. He genuinely seemed to care and provided a very efficient good value service. The paperwork came very quickly and our requested amendments were efficiently dealt with. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company.

A refreshingly efficient service. The adviser was polite, very knowledgeable, and gave invaluable advice about our wills. We received our completed wills very quickly and the whole process was remarkably painless. I have no hesitation in recommending Future Legal Services.

Just like to express our thanks to Future Legal Services Ltd for making what was a stressful issue (writing our wills), a straight forward and simple process. Now that we've done it, we can't understand why we had put it off for so long. Many thanks.

I would have to agree with the general theme of the other negative reviews for this company, they sell the idea of their home visit as a £125 will writing service but in reality it's to get their foot in the door to try to upsell you to their £2500 service agreement. This is done by steadily building up a totally false picture of how much it will cost your executors when you pass away, they even tried to falsely claim that your executors will have to pay your debts and any taxes out of their own pocket rather than from your estate - factually incorrect.
They then offer to solve all of your problems

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY .. They took all our financial details. They tried to sell us extra’s that we were not interested in. Paid £125 for a will expecting everything would be okay only to be sent a letter stating that they are unwilling to draft the will. Did get the money back but I’m sure if we had the extra’s (costing hundreds) they would be more than willing to draft the will. Waste of time. Contacted the ombudsman to be told they are not a legal service.

Do not use this company. A guy came round to do a will for self and mother. He spent 2 hours the first visit and 2 hours the second visit to decide he could not do a will for me. Gave some poor excuse after scare mongering us both. What was the problem, we did not want to sign up to the company receiving a percentage of our estate. We only wanted a simple will, so he did not want to help as it was not what he wanted to sell us. If you want a simple will go elsewhere as they will only waste your time. My mother said he was like a vulture picking at her bones before she was dead. My sentiments too
