AH Events
AH Events started more than 30 years ago and today is nationally respected for its track record in staging hundreds of successful and widely different events. Our job extends from booking pop stars to forecasting demand for portable toilets and everything in between. In our experience, each event is different and the variety of events is immense, and that is as it should be - each event is something special, unique, a 'one-off'.

We plan each occasion in meticulous detail, manage and monitor it at every level, dismantle it when it's over and assess the outcome. With every event AH undertake, you'll find an attention to detail, an imagination and a relish for problem-solving that you'll have difficulty sourcing elsewhere. Creating and managing large-scale, public events has figured strongly in the AH Events CV for over 30 years.
Services
Based in County Durham, AH Events' reputation for delivering phenomena beyond expectation has been hard earned over 34 years of Creative Event Management. In addition to drawing from the considerable experience of our founder, Alan Hillary, AH Events is nationally respected for our staging of numerous hugely-successful and diverse events.
Just prior to setting up the company, Alan Hillary, as event manager, was instrumental in the huge success of the first visit of the Tall Ships Race to Tyneside, which attracted half a million visitors. The NE1 Motor Show in Newcastle is one of our events; this attracts over 110,000 car enthusiasts.
Events can communicate key messages, foster community relations, motivate workforces or raise funds. Because every event has to be a perfect social, technical and creative fit, we have a collaborative approach to the project. We'll work alongside your team and communicate clearly and regularly throughout the process.
To provide support to the BBC for a hugely ambitious, visually spectacular musical relay spanning 78 miles along the entire length of the iconic Hadrian's Wall to be televised live on the BBC. The event involved hundreds of performers and was extremely complex in terms of logistical planning.

The relay baton had to travel to a very exact schedule due to the event being broadcast live, and by many different modes of transport such as go-kart, bus, tractor, unicycle, motorbike, boat and horse. The AH Event Team was split into relay managers who would get ahead of each relay and manage key locations along the route.

Report
I've worked with AH Events several times over the past year. Their attention to detail, focus, creativity and ability to manage huge events under pressure is nothing short of incredible to observe. Having witnessed first hand what goes on behind the scenes, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend AH Events as easy to deal with, competent, efficient and friendly. Great Company, and an awesome team of folks!
