Based on beautiful Ullswater, England's second largest lake, we offer wakesurfing and stand-up paddle boarding for all levels, from beginner to advanced. If you prefer something less energetic you can charter our boat and skipper to explore the beautiful lake at your leisure. Or if you're looking for a group activity with a difference we're here to help!

Ullswater Wake & Surf was founded by Dale in 2019. With a passion for wakeboarding he decided to pursue his dream of life on the water by qualifying as a British Waterski & Wakeboard UKCC Level 2 Coach and BWSW Ski Boat Driver. Based on the shoreline of stunning Ullswater in the Lake District, Dale and his team take great pride in helping people of all ages and abilities to share the fun and freedom of wakesurfing and paddleboarding.

I confirm that by making my booking I wish to participate in activities including, but not limited to wakesurfing, wakeboarding, paddle boarding and boat charter (collectively hereinafter called "the activity") organised by Ullswater Wake & Surf. I agree that I will carry out the activity in accordance with the specific safety instructions that I will receive before undertaking the activity.

Prices Report

If you are a beginner, please allow minimum 30 minutes each for tuition. We can take up to 6 people on the boat for each session so that can be a mix of riders and spectators where space allows. Riders should allow max 20 mins each in the water. Boat charters are for groups (max 6 people) who want flexibility with time and may want to both wakeboard and/or wakesurf, or for groups who want a leisurely, relaxing trip around Lake Ullswater.

Had a great time with our family of four. Very friendly staff and very helpful. This was our first time paddle boarding with two boys aged 3 and 7. The kit was of good quality and it was set on a working farm and campsite. There was a coffee van and shop nearby and plenty of changing space. A great time and very easy to find. Thanks again guys!

My wife booked a Wake surfing lesson for me for my 50th birthday, I had surfed and wakeboarded over 20 years ago so I was not expecting much. with Marks expert tuition I got up first go and soon got the hang of it, Mark kept talking me through what I should be doing and tips on how to progress. I can't wait for my next session. I can highly recommend coming here for a great wake surfing experience...

Mark and Dale are great wake surfing instructors and really nice guys. All staff are lovely, friendly and chill vibe, good facilities and equipment the lake and surrounding area relaxing. There’s a cafe next to the place to we spend half a day there just doing wake surfing and paddle boarding.

We are a family of 5 and had a morning paddle boarding and an afternoon with Dale on the lake learning to Wakesurf. We had never done it before so were complete beginners. The team were polite and very helpful and got us on the water straight away. Dale was fantastic and gave us excellent instruction. I would highly recommend this company to anyone visiting Ullswater.
