Intack Self Drive is one of the largest privately owned self drive rental companies in Lancashire. The business was started at Intack Service Station, Blackburn, in 1972 with 2 vans and 3 cars and as the fleet expanded it outgrew the premises and in 1987 moved to the purpose built town centre premises on Lower Audley Street where it remains today.

I`ve used them so many times to hire cars for 7 days at the time and they were always professional and delivered a decent service.
Once I had to cancel a booking at short notice due to Covid and I managed to get a full refund.
Will definitely recommend them and carry on using them whenever I need a car.

I have had a vehicle on hire from Intack for the past 2 and a half years and in that time I can say the service has been outstanding.

Van spot on. No issue with collection or condition and in previous review Intack scored highly.
However on this occasion, points lost on drop off on 16 October. Signs say office is open until 5pm and gates close at 8pm. Arrived at 4.50pm and everything locked up with no means of access.
Had to turn my wife around as she was on her way to collect me, take the van back home and then trail back to site early on Sunday morning as rental expired at 9.00am.
Did take the edge off the experience

Great service from the booking staff, Cathy was very helpful. The car was new and had no issues, I had to drop a star because when I was dropping the car back off I made the handover guy aware of a scratch which wasn’t visible in the wet. I told him I’d taken a picture of said scratch after picking the car up and it drying outside my house. He wasn’t very good at listening so I went in showed the booking staff the picture and all the wedding pictures I had taken afterwards. All sorted in the end, thanks to Cathy and the team 👌🏻

Hired a Luton Van with tail lift every thing good. When I picked up the van i was told the van was full of fuel. I filled up after 240 miles with 76 litres of fuel, the next 190 miles took only 40 litres showing it could not have been filled up in the first place. When I got back I told the man in the garage who told me the vans were not checked properly but the guage just glanced at. I believe this practice cost me about £25 in fuel so customers beware this sloppy practice could cost you a lot of money.
