We opened our doors as a small cafe 25+ years ago it is rumoured the "first cappuccino" in Derry was served here. Since then we have built this family-run restaurant into a 100 seated bistro, with dishes that vary from our 'Must try' Seafood Chowder to our locally sourced lamb shank. We have a range of delicious cocktails for you to choose from and a full bar to suit all tastes.

We pride ourselves in the fantastic value we have for our customers, with some hard to beat offers such as 30% off all food and drink all day every day.

We called Into Fitzroy's on Sunday as a family of 7 food cocktails and Drink was second to none,the service we received was first class as we had 2 infints in our group everything was perfect we will definitely be back was worth every penny

Went here regularly because staff were great food and service also for wearing masks. Not anymore. Ordered wine and food. Masks hanging of ears, under chin or not at all. Asked to speak to manager Not impressed at all at his customer skills. Found him aggressive. I trained and worked for many years in catering. He thinks wearing his mask under nose is the correct way. Very disappointed. Now in Browns and town, all customers and staff are following the mandatory rules of mask wearing. As they do in the Sooty Olive

Would highly recommend, we ate in here tonight and we could not fault anything. from the moment we entered the restaurant the gentlemen who greeted us had a bit of banter and craic, girls taking the orders were very polite and friendly, fella that brought us our food is a credit to the restaurant an absolute gent, could be doing with a tribe of him in the service industry. The food was amazing we all really enjoyed every single bit of food we ate. keep up the top class work. thank you 😁 we will be back soon

Was here one night and couldn't have had a better time. The service was great, it was busy but the one server kept every man satisfied. Its not often I eat out but she made it easy for me and was splendid experience. I'll def be back

Absolutely fantastic place with modern feel it really is a hidden gem. We will be back
Highly recommended the 100oz steak and the sticky toffee pudding accompanied with peach delight cocktails
Staff are very warm welcoming and friendly and the environment is suitable for families.
Theu even accommodated adjusting a meal.for my son as there wasn't anything I knew he would eat off the kids menu (changed the tomatoe pasta for plain pasta)

Without a doubt the best in town... 5 of our family enjoyed an absolutely wonderful evening there. Our meals... steak, chicken, duck, salmon and burger.... not one complaint between us 😋😋.
Now our girl serving us at table no. 2 on 10/10/2021 was a bundle of joy and banter.... what an uplift in our world of doom and gloom....
I have no hesitation in recommending Fitzroy's for food of the highest quality and very friendly service. 👌👌

Was at Fitzroy's last night. This place is busy so better to book even though there is walk in. The staff where fantastic and very friendly and busy. The place is child friendly as well which was nice to see. The cocktails where amazing the food was fantastic good portion size and cooked the way you want it. On the plus side we got 30% of the bill as well. Little details like the name on your drink plus they have everything in place for covid. Listen folks give this place ago you won't be disappointed. I will be back again soon....

Had dinner here on a Friday evening and was glad we booked as it was pretty full by 7pm. Big plates of food which was delicious - Lamb shank on black pudding mash was really good. One thing that is a bit odd is that the menu prices are little higher than the average locally but these are always discounted by 30% - an offer that seems to be on all the time.
Would definitely recommend, but book a table.

Such welcoming staff, and the food is too notch 👌 Delicious.
Great service, clean & cozy seating, central location, and great value for such good quality dining!
Baked Alaska dessert is to die for... if you have a sweet tooth, like me.
Definitely be back again; highly recommend.

My most favorite restaurant. John and all the staff ALWAYS give 5* service (nothing is too much) they are so very friendly & accommodating. The cocktails 🍹 are so fresh and yummy 😋 The food is mouth-watering, moreish, 5* with an amazing, extensive, delicious, dietary accommodating menu that will have you stuck to decide what you want to try first. You will be coming back alot just so you can try everything you want from the menu 😋😋❤️❤️🤤🤤

A group of nine of us arrived for a birthday meal and we were blown away by the service.
From looking after the birthday cake for us, to the staff easily being the friendliest and most attentive staff we've ever come across.
And the food.... The food was phenomenal - Its a whole new standard we've all experienced and we never shut up about how nice everything and everyone was on the bus home
It speaks volumes on the management by the service we received and the staff's morale - you're doing a phenomenal job
