Established in 2004 Danvac is a family-run business supplying Vacuum lifting equipment, parts and components into industries such as Glass, Metal, Wood and Concrete. Director Dan Wheeler has over 30 years experience in the lifting equipment industry having previously worked alongside his father Alan E Wheeler.
One of the industries in which vacuum lifting is particularly beneficial is glass processing. The product may not be particularly heavy but is dangerous to manually handle in larger sizes. One of our biggest customers is Pilkington Glass. In their manufacturing plants we have units capable of lifting sheets of glass 6m x 3m and weighing upto 1000kg.
One of the industries in which vacuum lifting is particularly beneficial is Wood processing and furniture manufacture. The product may not particularly heavy, but does require handling and manipulating in a safe and damage-free way. Two of our biggest customers are Egger UK and Kronospan. We supply many different types of suction pad & cups for use on short cycle presses into their manufacturing plants.
Diversity is the key word when it comes to Danvac's range of Eurotech "Suction boxes & ET Grippers", many different types of products, made from many types of materials, can be handled easily & safely. The Manupac tube lifter is an effective answer in solving issues caused by repetitive lifting & twisting, for example in palletising & end of line manual stacking.
