Services
Since 2005 Cardinal Wills has been providing expert & detailed advice and guidance on will-writing, estate/tax planning and estate administration to families, business owners and financial advisers all over England & Wales (in particular Yorkshire and the North-East). Quality of service is maintained at the highest level by ensuring that we employ only experienced and proven Will Writers.
Making a Will is relatively straightforward and not very expensive. However, in spite of this, seven out of ten people in the UK who could and should make a Will die without a Will. This often causes delays, hardship and worry - and even costly legal bills can result if there is confusion and disagreement among those left behind.
This is at the heart of our friendly and professional service. All our Will Writers produce Wills either from instructions taken by our agents or as a result of visiting clients. In the latter case confirmation letters and a complete information pack is sent to the client prior to the appointment - the client is therefore prepared.
The LPA is a legal document that enables a person's trusted representative(s) - known as Attorney(s) - to oversee their finances and welfare. Dealing with money and welfare matters in old age or ill health can be difficult and worrying - perhaps even impossible. Although a friend or family member could apply to the court be appointed a "Deputy" to handle your affairs, this can be a lengthy and costly process.
Many people working in partnership do not have a formal agreement and hence their partnership is governed by the outdated provisions of the Partnership Act 1890 which are largely unsuitable for the 21 st century business. Without an agreement a partnership must dissolve on death which can have serious consequences for the business.

My brother was very ill and we needed a will fast. Cardinal Wills could not have done any more to assist, including taking the will instructions via video conference, and getting the written up will in our hands within a few hours. Their helpfulness and compassion in our time of need was truly appreciated . I cannot recommend them enough.
