Our 2012 Research report 'Raising the bar in HR Recruitment' showed that there was a clear need to enhance new employee's success rates post appointment - especially in the first 100 days. I've have contacted this company twice now and they haven't been particularly great on both occasions. On the first occasion they just ignored my email and call. On the second occasion I spoke to three separate consultants and all they suggested was a role with a 2 hour commute paying less than my current salary. I ended up securing interviews at some of the biggest media & tech firms in the world so I'm not a bad candidate. I wouldn't really recommend based on my personal experience.

Sadly another 1 star review. I moved to the UK and applied for a number of jobs via Oakleaf in the summer and not one response to many of my emails and phone calls. A number of my peers in my network have had the same experience where they simply do not respond. The consultants are in the fortunate position of having an income and do not appreciate how frustrating it is to chase. There are more professional businesses that are far more courteous even if your face doesn't fit.

I have worked with Oakleaf now for a number of years as a client, as a permanent candidate and more recently as an interim. What I appreciate the most is the consistency of service across all desks. Whoever you work with shows strong market knowledge, a great understanding of your needs either as a client or a candidate and fantastic client service. Katrina Stewart in particular is an outstanding consultant and spends a great deal of time investing and maintaining relationships with her clients and candidates. Oakleaf are always more than happy to share their knowledge and information.

Not a recruitment company that I would want anything to do with again. Called me about a job in my area, never ended up sending job spec over and I had to look for it myself on Reed. Call back the following week and I was told by him that I would receive a call from him late afternoon. Guess what, he never replied. Waste of space, arogant and rude individual. Wasted my time.
