Below we can see the assembly process with the timber being treated and primed during construction. What is commonly known as a ledged and braced gate, this gate was constructed with boarding to both sides and ironmongery bought and added during the construction. Accolade Carpentry fitted the braces and then installed the gates to the customers requirements.
The expense of replacing your worktops can be quite considerable if you have damaged them. Usually that rush in the kitchen, a hot pan or lid placed down on the worktop and then finding an ugly burnt mark when cleaning up. To change your tops will involve removing taps, damage to tiled splash backs and your kitchen can be out of action for at the very least a couple of days.
Accolade Carpentry can renovate your stair case, changing basic softwood hand rails, string capping's, and balustrades with an Oak equivalent. We cover the newel posts with oak veneered board, mitred at each corner to complete the transformation. The pictures shown here are from previously completed renovations.
Do you have an open area under your stairs that could be put to better use? Some older house constructions have the main electric supply entering the building under the stairs, which is sometimes exposed and could be a danger to those inquisitive little hands. Why not create a usable cupboard for all those every day items you need to find a home for.
Upon receiving a request from this customer, a visit was arranged and after discussions with our clients, a sketch and quotation was produced for these custom made bookcases. Made to sit each side of the chimney breast and fitted with scribing pieces, makes for a flawless fit. The shelving in the top of each unit is adjustable and will accommodate a variety of book sizes.
