Crown thinning is the removal of the smaller branches within crown of the tree to reduce density of the crown. Crown thinning includes crown cleaning and does not alter the overall size or shape of the tree.

We have all the right equipment to manage both large and small sites and ensure we are working safely and efficiently. Here is a selection of questions many clients ask but please do get in touch with any questions that aren't answered here. Trees vary in species. Most trees can be pruned at any time of the year, with a few exceptions:Cherry, Plum, and related trees (Prunus species) should be pruned soon after flowering to reduce the risk of bacterial infection.
It's been great to have the fruit trees cared for by people who know exactly what needs doing. We got what we expect after many years of your coming here - two beautifully shaped trees, and prompt, friendly service with great clearing up. Thank you again, and to the next time! Many, many thanks. Work just finished and garden looks amazing, I do appreciate all the care taken and how immaculate everything is left.
